We only went for 1 night but the stay was pleasant. Good location, clean rooms. It was very cold and the heating worked very well. Very good breakfast and well served. The staff very attentive and willing. The rooms are small (at least we were in). The towels, although clean, already need a renovation. There was shampoo, conditioner, soap, bathing cap and body cream. There are some details in the maintenance of the rooms and bathroom that would have to be fixed.

Locked cash box, promised to repair, never happened. Bloody cushion, stained curtain. Bathroom overlooking the piece, takes privacy away. A hearty breakfast of regular quality. AWFUL! The hotel is really a disaster. It's a wolf in sheep's clothing. An attractive and modern façade but that hides horrible rooms, poor maintenance and, worst of all, terrible service. Officials are really useless. We arrived at night and they never knew how to assign me a room (despite having made a reservation well in advance). After paying I requested a refund to go to another hotel (really) and the official didn't know (or didn't want to) cancel the voucher. Finally, like the previous comment, they were not able to respond to Sernac's claim to return the more than 300,000 cancelled. A disaster! But they are not saved from the demand!

Expensive hotel for what it offers. Reception and restaurant separated from the rooms by a considerable distance. You have to go down stairs with your suitcases, there is no ramp. I selected this hotel on the basis of reviews but was really disappointed.
Firstly, the good things. The hotel is well located on the beach at La Serena and I think most rooms have a sea view. Secondly, the staff were helpful in loaning me some electricity adaptors as they only have the older plug sockets for which I didn’t have an adaptor. The showers are really nice
Now the bad points. The staff are not very friendly. They prefer to communicate by WhatsApp rather than face to face. There is a real “smiles cost extra” vibe. Check-in is ridiculously late at 4pm. I have travlled the world and never experienced such a late check-in. Rooms are OK but basic. The breakfast room is just depressing and looks like it was designed for coach parties. The food was basic and I was shouted at for not wearing my mask. Well, of course not, because it is necessary to remove your mask so you can put food in your mouth. Plus I was sitting outside. I didn’t bother going after the first morning as the food wasn’t worth me being hassle again. Just be aware that the city centre of La Serena is at least a 30 minute walk. Taxis are a bit unreliable, especially first thing in the morning if you need to get to the bus station.

Very nice hotel, excellent views from room. Bedroom nice. Breakfast was very complete. Although it was cold season room had heater, the shower was nice and hot. Lots of drinking water available in chilled or hot dispensers on each floor. Restaurant was pricey but daily specials were good.
