Airco broken in 1st room, switched to another room, where it worked but barely. In the 2nd room the bed lights were not working and the toilet was blocked. The toilet was quickly fixed the bed light not. Breakfast was unpleasant. Little choice, scrabbled eggs were cooked on dirty outside kitchen. The cook was sneezing constantly, no idea where the... This is a family operation owned by loving parents who named their hotel after their children: "King" the daughter, and her brother "Fy". I did not choose this hotel because it has multiple stars, but simply because all of the hotels around downtown Battambang are worse -- sleazy and lousy. I did not have a perfect stay, because, although I... More

The hotel doesn't look like any of the pictures. It's so dark and creepy inside. The pool is old and very run down, the roof top bar is just awful, and the restaurant is dirty. We had lunch and breakfast at the restaurant and it was the worst food we had on our entire trip. And they don't even have... More

Stayed here one week in the very affordable suite. Clean and comfortable, with heavy wooden furniture, flat-screen tv, fridge, and in-room safe. I enjoyed a lovely balcony with views of the river and "downtown". Breakfast buffet was a good selection of Western and local favorites. The staff were cheerful, kind, and helpful, and can arrange transportation etc. There is a... More

First of all, the staff hadn't finished room service when we got there mid afternoon, and when I went to reception on my way out, saying they hadn't finished, I expected someone to be sent up, but they decided that just putting a loo roll in the bathroom was the same as finishing the daily cleaning. The room was dusty... More

Review by young couple who have traveled for 6 months - Unfortunately the hotel is very run down and although the beds were clean the room was very dusty and 'balcony' is a ledge you reach climbing out the window onto a carpet of dead animals. The wifi didn't work and we were on 2nd floor, the pool was mirky... More

Obviously once the star hotel in the area it has seen better days.....but this didn't detract from our stay. The staff were simply wonderful. Even when there was confusion because Trip Advisor listing is wrong which says breakfast is free they were so lovely and let us have breakfast for free. we paid on the other days. most importantly the... we spent here three nights with a family of five, in family suite. The suite was well equiped, even with a spa bath (rain shower, bubble bath, massage jets, hammam and perhaps more features I didn't discover). But it was clear that the room wasn't cleaned for a while: lots of dust, lots of poop of lizzard, a dead lizzard... More

A short walk across the bridge to the town center the hotel had everything my group needed. And for the price was good value. The breakfast was good but perhaps best to come early The check in was excellent with all rooms as requested and the keys waiting our arrival Will return again

It was my first hotel to stay in Battambang. Clean big rooms and friendly staffs. Provides a good view of the City, specially the Sangker River. A little bit far from the city center but you can walk and enjoy the view along the way.
