The hotel is midle range, but the staff is very helpfull and friendly. It is located in old town of Veliko Turnovo and you can easily go on foot to the centar of town (new town). Also there are a few historical places near hotel Boliari. Next to it there is a Archeology Museum, less then 2 minutes there is...

We made reservations for 2 rooms on booking.com, for 2 families. There was no option for children so we didn't expect anything to go wrong but it did. Upon checkin the "helpful staff" didn't want to allow us to stay because "they don't have rooms for children" even if we had a 2 years old... Finally she accepted us but...

I am really amused by Hotel Boliari. The stuff is friendly and ready to help all around the clock. The location is perfect for those who won't mind to walk, but there's no problem to get there by bus nor car.

This hotel is on a bow-shaped road which starts and finishes on the main road above it. It is a bit hard to find but is very quiet even though it is close to the centre. Parking did not seem to be a problem. I seem to remember that reception spoke rudimentary English. The room was fine, and it has...

Hello! I would like to share with you my negative impression with the Bolyari hotel in Veliko Tarnovo. We had a reservation for the national holiday - 22.09.2015 and we have specifically asked to have a reserved parking spot. It turned out, without any warning, that the town was closed due to the celebration and the hotel, that located in...

Nice location overlooking valley forest and a church ruin, next to archeology museum and five mins to castle and town. My second floor corner room was comfortable and adequately furnished, though a not ideal floor plan. Bathroom clean and modern. Staff friendly with limited English. If paying by card I suggest doing it sooner rather than waiting as the network...

We went blind in our trip to the beautiful city of Veliko Tarnovo and we were in luck to find this pretty hotel. The staff was very nice and prompt to our solicitations. The best thing about this hotel is the location, because you can easily get to the points of interes of the town. We also had a very...

The only thing great is the location and the view from the upper room. Our junior suite was rather small and did not excel at comfort. The bathroom was awful, the fixtures were leaking... Breakfast very poor - they serve you a hardly edible plate with half tomato, some ham (awful), soft cheese and a hard boiled egg. The staff...

I booked a room at this hotel, for 5 members of my family. I got confirmation of the booking at midday of my arrival day. I informed the hotel that I wouldn't arrive until after 7pm. When I arrived at the hotel following a 4 hour drive I was greeted by a very grumpy and rude lady who told me...
