The staff were super helpful and tri-lingual which helps a ton (Portugües, Español and English). The area is smack dab in the middle of Sampa next to Avenida Paulista, which was nice being a solo traveler brand new to the city (you can easily get to any attractions by Metro or walk throughout Jardim or even down to Ibirapuera as...

It's a great hostel. I've stayed there several times and it has always been a good experience. A very good staff and a very friendly and safe atmosphere. Besides, the location is amazing: in the heart of São Paulo (and with a supermarket in front of it).

Very well localized. Good infrastructure and great atmosphere. A good opportunity for all those who like to meet people from everywhere. The place is very clean, the breakfast is more than your average joe. Even though I'm an introvert, enjoyed a lot the stay.

Took us 30 minutes to get there from tiete bus station on the metro. Hostel is just one block from trianon-masp metro stop. The staff were amazing and gave us loads of stuff to do in SP. Breakfast included was nice. WiFi is fast and the showers are hot! Would recommend!

I stayed in femal room with 6 beds and shared bathroom. I stayed just two nights. The room is regular. The breakfast is simple, but enough. Excellent location, next to the subway station (Trianon-Masp). Very close of Paulista avenue, museum, restaurants, bars, malls, pharmacys, bus stations. There is a bar on the last floor. Wifi didn't work in the room,...

Location is superb and staff is nice. But other than that yikes. Rooms are very small. Beds very uncomfortable as they are lined with plastic. Thanks God I'm small otherwise I wouldn't have fit properly. No WI-FI, it has been down for several months already according to other hostees. You cannot drink within the premises unless you purchase at the...

I have mixed opinions of this hostel. The staff were very kind and helpful and the hostel itself is big, clean and well kept. However, the sleeping arrangements are not great. We were put in the room downstairs next to the kitchen and the main road. Traffic was loud throughout the night and staff were preparing breakfast early in the...

Staying in Jardins

Neighbourhood Profile
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighbourhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighbourhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.

“Location's lit & perfect for Sampa noobs like myself; fellow international travelers and staff were great; bar upstairs was/is not the move but plenty fun options nearby (and great daytime touristy sights like MASP IbieraP or Casa dos Rosas etc)”

“My husband and I got a private room, shared bathroom, room 7. Clearly it used to be a bathroom because there was one of those old places that you can put soap in a tub next to our bed. There was no room on either side of the bed to walk so we had to crawl from the bottom, no problem though. There was a window by our heads that lead to someone elses private bathroom where they were loud, smelly, and left the light on all night. We eventually closed the window and turned on the fan. The room got to without a double 90 degrees. We both ended up sweating, tossing and turning the entire night because the room was so hot. The hallway was at least 10 degrees cooler. If you stay here don't stay in room 7!!”
