Very simples hostel considering its price. Staff came into our room without knocking in the morning assuming we had left. I think perhaps better training needed. Rooms also had nowhere to recharge phones without hanging from high on the wall.

The hostel is clean and was a good place to stay, great location! Not exactly close to supermarkets etc but only 15 min walk. The bar and common garden areas were open to the public from around 5pm till 10pm and are quite popular with the locals so the atmosphere in the hostel was kinda crap as we didn't really...

I booked a 5 bed Female dorm with Private Bathroom, and to my luck the first day I was alone in the room :) They have a great lobby downstairs, a kitchen for your use, a TV room where you can Netflix and a decent book collection. There's a outside seating area in the garden and a bar as well....

The building itself is very charming and the staff is very nice. I got a double room, which had a nice wraparound balcony. The problem is there seems to be a 24/7 party that makes it impossible to sleep. Also, the shared bathrooms are super gross and the flush in one of the upstairs bathrooms doesn't work v well.

Nice hostel. Lovely room (double with balcony) The hostel can be quite noisy at time though. Some of the staff were really friendly & helpful - others not so. Breakfast was nice too - home made cake 😃

Our first impression was fantastic as we were taken around by the reception staff and saw the communal spaces. They were both plentiful and large: library, tv room, living room, bar and many more. But then we were taken to our room which was no more than a shoebox. A four bed dorm which couldn't even fit four standing people...

The location is ok. Quiet but far from subway station and night activities. Not many restaurants around. Wifi is quite fast, just doesn't reach to the room although my room was next to the receptionist, and the connection is very unstable, impossible to make a Skype call. Breakfast is basic, scrambled egg doesn't get refilled quick enough, most of the...

This is a cool hostel that used to be a mansion. In a safe neighborhood the best part is the staff. They are so helpful and friendly and interact with guests to ensure everyone has a good time. The rooms are a little cosy but your not their to spend time in them. The.breakfast was awesome with fresh fruit and...

Cute little hostel in a good location, and great value for SP. Our room was big and we had a balcony (but no balcony furniture, which was a shame). The staff were young friendly and keen to help. It's a little tricky to find and the locals didn't seem to know where it was, so it's worth printing a map...

I stayed there for 3 days. Its a nice place with vintage decoration and all into place. I did love it. The guys are very friendly and helpfull, the rooms are not super big but enough to make you feel confy, they also sell beers at very reasonable prices. It's a huge option to stay in SP.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The WE was designed for those who want to experience the most intense city in South America without letting go of comfort and the company of interesting people. We are more than just a regular hostel, and this is why we have developed a unique lodging concept bringing together comfort and style, safety and fun.The 1910s mansion had its original room disposition nearly unaltered, though it was completely renovated in terms of interior design and amenities. The decor has a retro inspiration, but with a modern and interactive touch. Our architectural project was based on the idea of combining the atmosphere of familiarity and coziness that only hostels can deliver to the style and comfort you are used to experiencing on the best hotels around the world. We know that shared spaces are very important at a hostel, which is why we've paid special attention to ours. WE was designed to provide the best possible interaction between our guests with each common areas featuring its own identity and exclusive items, such as the chalkboard on the ceiling of the glass room, the cinema at the eat&drink area, the comfort of TV room and the special decor at the lounge. To sum up, everything was designed to make your stay in Sao Paulo as exciting and pleasant as it can be.WE has 46 vacancies total, with shared rooms accommodating a maximum of 8 people. There is one en suit just for women, with a balcony; one room for couples, with a queen size bed and a huge balcony; one private room and 6 shared rooms. All the rooms are equipped withindividual lockers, wall sockets and reading lights.Located at Vila Mariana, one of Sao Paulo's most traditional neighborhoods, the hostel sits on a peaceful corner, right beside a bike rental spot and close to many of the city's famous touristic spots, as well as the main metro line that will get you to the most iconical touristics points and the domestic airport. But the important thing here is that the WE is extremely close to Parque do Ibirapuera, and just one block away from the bohemian Joaquim da Tavora Street, with its many bars and a exciting nightlife. You should also know that we offer towels, bedding sheets and Wi-Fi free of charge to our guests, and that breakfast is on us too. And if you need any further information our team will be happy to assist you - not only with things related to your stay at the WE, but also with tips and informations that will make you enjoy every minute of Sao Paulo. ... more   less
