Girl at reception made me feel welcome and was super friendly and helpful. The place is safe (CCTV at the front door, secure entrance to the room). But bathrooms were dirty and dorms basic, with old bedsheets (holes everywhere). Breakfast was very small/poor compared to all other hostels I've been to in Brazil

The staff is super nice and friendly. All the people hosted in the hostel somehow feel the Brazilian vibe and the atmosphere is tremendously homie. Close to the metro station it is also a place very keen on security given that we are still in Saõ Paulo.

it was my first time in Sao Paulo and I was a bit nervous. However, my experience was amazing. The hostel is clean and organized and the staff is really helpful. It is located very close to a new subway station so we were able to go everywhere. We will go back !

I was only here one night, but it definitely had the makings of a good hostel starting with the very lovely staff, the comfy beds, good sized lockers and nice common area. The hostel also has great bathrooms and a good kitchen. Only downside is the very very sub standard breakfast. Don´t expect anything great - no ham no cheese...

I agree with all the other references saying this hostel has an awesome and very helpful staff. They know where to go, how to go and also help with reserving buses or whatever you need. The hostel itself is lovely and clean, there are computers and wifi for use, there is a big television and a lot of places to...

The hostel staff is really friendly, always ready to give useful tips and help. The hostel is located near the subway, making it easy to get around. It was kind of deserted (of guests), though. We got the private room and didn't really see anybody on the common areas. Bathrooms could be much cleaner. Other than that, nice place.

The staff is really super nice and helpful. We stayed in the private room, which was nice (but quite hot: no air conditioning). The location in Vila Madalena is good, and close to the subway station. The breakfast was basic and the bathrooms not always super clean.

Hey Hostel is a cosy, clean and comfortable place in a good neighbourhood. But the best feature of this hostel is definitely the staff. They were very friendly, welcoming and above all very helpful. They pointed out this great temporary art exhibition in a deserted hospital (which was amazing) we would never have known about if it wasn't for them....

The hostel has nice areas inside and outside to relax or eat&drink. Bathrooms are good and clean. All the staff comes from Sao Paulo and could give valuable advices for the city (there is a perfect connection with a metro available) and the neighborhood (nice area for bars and night clubs). We felt very welcome and enjoyed all the 3...

We stayed at this hostel as part of our World Cup trip and were happy with our choice. The location is quite good, a 10 min walk to Vila Madalena and few minutes to the metro (although the directly surrounding area is not that great). We stayed in a private room which was fine and the bathrooms were generally clean...

Staying in Pinheiros

Neighbourhood Profile
Pinheiros
Exploring Pinheiros, a neighbourhood known for cozy restaurants and cafes, you will notice a youthful energy. Several cultural centres and institutes surround the area and even its main church, Calvário, hosts a traditional Brazilian “Festa Junina” - a celebration with traditional music, dance, and food during the months of June and July. On the weekends, residents gather at Benedito Calixto Square, a loud and crowded area where people enjoy live music drinks alongside the antiquities fair.
