Its place in the region of Paulista Avenue, this hotel deserves positive. Apartments comfortable but simple, offering only the essentials: clean and tidy beds, bathroom with antique structure of rooms and amenities without excess (a soap, a shampoo, a pen ...). Staff courteous and helpful. Breakfast also without excesses, offering salad bar, pastries, fruit, juice, cheese etc., but the waiters...

I had a conference in August at the Fecomercio conference center (quite close to Fundacao Getulio Vargas business school). I was aware that hotel prices in Sao Paolo are high. I read various hotel reviews and selected Blue Tree Towers Paulista. The room was very good: standard business hotel, with queen size bed, closet, desk, mini bar and bathroom. It...

Staff was very helpful, the carpet in the rooms should be replaced (stayed in two rooms here). But I will say the staff was really very helpful making recommendations at great places to eat and were very patient with my language issues (I only speak english and a little spanish). If I went back I might try a different place.

São Paulo hotels always have good rates for the weekends because it is a business city not a touristic one. Nowadays the hotel rates are high as everything else in Brazil. After a big research on the Internet, I decided to stay 2 nights at Blue Tree Towers Paulista because it had a good rate for weekends in July (vacation...

When we arrived we were placed in a floor where they were doing entire renovation work, it was like a war zone, dust everywhere and heavy pounding. We immediately called and were relocated to another room. You cannot accommodate guests in areas that are being renovated, that is a safety hazard (perhaps not in Brazil, but all over the US...

I stayed at the Blue Tree for a business trip. The hotel is well located, very close to Avenida Paulista. The staff was friendly and helpful. There weren't very good restaurants at walk distance but the front desk clerks would call minivans from "currascarias" to pick you up if needed. The room was average. There was internet connection but no...

Sao Paulo is getting very difficult to find bargins on rooms. I use to stay at the Rennaissance at one time for $150 per night. Due to the devaluation it is not $400. SP is more expensive than NYC. I was staying at the Golden Tupil Paulista and the rooms left a lot to be desired. In my travels I...

I arrived at Sao Paulo airport at 05h00 on a Friday morning. Most hotels I phoned were full-booked and not that helpful. The staff at Blue Tree Towers were really efficient and with the hotel on the shuttle root I was on their doorstep in a flash. I was allowed to check in early and when I left on the...

Hotel is very good located, close to Av. Paulista, subway, etc. Rooms are clean and the staff at the Reception was very pleasant. But internet is paid and it´s expensive. Breakfast is very good with brazilian and japanese food.

This hotel as an excellent location for tourism. Was in a luxury room, 21rst floor. I chose it for the view wich was not that great. The rooms are nice, not very spacious but ok. Average decoration. The thing is that the room is really tired and really need to be renewed. You can still find shower curtain wich is...

Staying in Bela Vista

Neighbourhood Profile
Bela Vista
Known for its Italian cantinas, Bela Vista is the place to go for great pasta. Also called “Bixiga”, the area is an important cultural part of the city, with the bohemian and the religious costumes of its inhabitants on full display. In August, the large Nossa Senhora Achiropita party fills the streets with a variety of Italian food and music. You can experience the liveliness of the neighbourhood walking through the antiquities fair at Dom Orione Square or visiting the “Brazilian Caminito”, a version of the Argentinian street complete with colorful buildings. Bela Vista is also home to the traditional samba school “Vai-Vai”. Buy a ticket to a rehearsal and get a taste of what Carnival is like.
