It may be a bit out of the way, but the view of the Tetons can not be surpassed. The resort itself has a decent restaurant but the accommodations are just average. However, if you are going to be involved with the great outdoors, you can't find a better place to plan your Teton adventure in the summer.

Unfortunately I would not rate the Sioux Lodge very high. The studio apt 266 had no cups, plates, silverware for even a bowl of cereal in the morning. A microwave, refrigerator and one cup coffee maker were in the room. For $259 a night we found it to be very expensive, noisy, and have had better amenities in a hotel... More

This review is from a "vacationing" mom's perspective Lots of reviews have described the great snow at Targhee and the accommodations at Sioux Lodge which is just a short walk to the lifts and base lodge. The outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi are a real bonus and a great way to end the day. The staff at the resort are... More

The snow is phenomenal during the winter. Moose and Moran may get a little more snow but here is a drier snow that is much appreciated in winter. The summer? It is eden. There are spots to hike . Then there is a day trip to yellowstone or jackson.

This place is so relaxing, it is a challenge to leave. Plenty of towels, comfy bed and the atmosphere keeps us coming back. The staff is kind, helpful and assertive with our every need! Coffee in the room along with a fridge and microwave, what more do you need... Oh and the pool/hot tub just across the parking lot.

Yep, it's one of those kind of dated 1970's Rocky Mountain Stick Buildings, but it's very well kept and could not be in a better spot. The stupid-good snow combined with an attractive lodging/lift package made for a nice camaraderie among guests. 4th floor provided stellar views but were a challenge after the skiing we had. A few flights of... More

Great place for hiking, we took the lift up and took the hiking trail back down . We stayed here after stopovers at the Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole this summer. Great place to visit on our way back home. Everything you could want is here -

Just spend 4 days skiing at Targhee. We are regular visitors to the west and have spent a lot of time in Jackson Hole, Big Sky, and other areas. The best way to characterize Targhee and Sioux Lodge as a 'no frils' place. Feels like a Locals place. While conditions were not great for avid skiers during our stay (lows... More
