I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights over new years 2009/2010. I was in a European Lux Suite and the room exceeded all expectations. There was a small lounge room, dining table and a balcony overlooking the street. The staff went out of their...More
This hotel is one block from the beach in Ipanema, and is very secure. Staff were all really polite and nice. The included breakfast was terrific. The room was good--not a great view, but quiet since it was at the side of the hotel. No...More

Great location - only one block from the beach. Quiet street and really good and safe neighborhood
The room was nice and big enough for me, many TV channels and even few in English, good bath, and there is also an IPod dock.
Ipanema is considered Rio's crown jewel. It offers the best view of the sunset from Arpoador and is inspiration for the legendary song, “The Girl from Ipanema.” Ipanema is an upscale area, home to many high-end restaurants and luxury shops, many of which can be found on the charming Garcia d'Ávila Avenue. The neighbourhood is very rich culturally, housing many art galleries that show contemporary art. There
is also a great variety of nightlife in the neighbourhood, which buzzes with many options for every taste.
