This hotel offers a good price/quality relation and also a good and modern option for an old neighbor like Copacabana, where most of the buildings have 40 years average. The commodities are fine and breakfast is complete.

Have stayed here several times, the larger rooms are worth the upgrade as you can spin the large TV around and watch while in bed. Great minibar as well with large selection of booze and snacks. Everything very stylish and well designed for a hotel at this price-point.

Stayed here on our Rio trip to see our niece compete in the Paralympic games. Good location only 5 minutes from Copacabana beach, and from the the Cantagalo metro station. Well appointed apartment with a kitchen/dining/ living room and separate bedroom with on-site bathroom. Buffet breakfast included, which had a good choice of juices, bread, cake, cereal, and fruit. Big room, with all amenities. Very friendly staff, from the receptionists to the room attendants. Clean, great breakfast. Price was good (less than 100 euros/night), in a perfect location: two blocks from the (nice) beach, for which they provide towels; one block from a metro station; very easy to take taxis or buses; plenty of bars, restaurants, all types of... Loved the position of this hotel, within easy walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. We had an apartment which comprised a small kitchenette and a seating area separate to the bedroom. There was a coffee machine, a microwave and a fridge. We also had a large balcony. The staff were very friendly, the pool area looked nice... More

Checked into this hotel recently, we choose it for it position and the fact we had a suite. On arrived to the small reception we were greeted by freidly efficient staff and where soon in our room. The room was large, with the bedroom easily separated from the main sitting area and kitchen. It has pretty much everything you could... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed it. Very pleased and would recommend. Short walk from beach, safe area, lovely apartment and good sized balcony looking over street. We could see the beach just at the end of the street to the left. Reception staff excellent: very helpful, friendly and speak English which is good. Spacious, comfortable apartment.... More

We stayed here for 4 nights while in Rio. It's a good location, very close to the beach and also to buses to go anywhere else. The reception staff were nice but you need to ask them for information about where to go and how to get around, they are not the most forthcoming with info but when you do... More

Staff very friendly. Rooms are large with kitchen. Easy walk to Ipanema. Location great, and close to everything. I was having a problem at The Royal Rio Palace, because I thought they were Racist. This place was a pleasent surprise. Will stay again in Aug 2015!

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
