We were there for Carnaval and we needed to organise tours etc but there was no wifi for two days the staff spoke pretty much no English and was rude! Plus the rooms are totally different from the photos they have up on bookings.com and maybe that's why they no photos up on TripAdvisor and underneath the bed was all... More

The hotel is clean, but room and bathroom are small and old, no shampoo, tiny soap, Air conditioning is noisy. Elevators are very old and noisy too. No acoustic isolation at all. Parking is one block away, very uncomfortable and old. People are very congenial, the best part. But the cost benefit ratio is not good at all. It is... More

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel as I was attending a conference at the CBC Convention Centre. The room was small, but the real problem was the minuscule toilet area, there was hardly enough room to sit on the toilet, considering the walls both sides. The television did not work the one time I switched it on, but I... More

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel, as I was attending a conference at CBC Convention Center nearby. The room was about 9 x 9 feet, with 2 single beds and a nightstand, with no room for anything else. The towels were also small and incredibly thin. On the bright side, however, the room was immaculately clean.

Staying in Botafogo

Neighbourhood Profile
In recent years, Botafogo has become one of the hottest neighbourhoods in Rio. It hosts many modern restaurants with contemporary food and many venues to listen to rock and electronic music. Its numerous bars and pubs make this area a great choice for anyone interested in a great nightlife experience - in fact, some bars in the area are open all night. Casa Daros, an art museum that showcases amazing artists from Latin America, is a must see located in a historical building in Botafogo.

“I stayed in Room 603 which was quite satisfactory except for the minuscule toilet. Good view of neighbourhood and Dona Marta slum. I would stay in Room 603 again, should I travel alone.”
