Stayed here at short notice at busy season so were grateful for the available room. Facilities quite basic, room was a touch depressing as very little natural light and huge pillar in the middle. Did however have a great night's sleep. Breakfast was correct, standard Brazilian breakfast of cold meats, cheeses, bread rolls, fresh fruit. Location great for Ipanema and...

Excellent front staff, very clean and tidy, reasonable breakfast. However, air-conditioners in room do not cool it at all. The air cons are very small for the room size. When we complained they moved us to a 3-beds room and it was horrible. The 3rd bed wud never get any air. Even at 25 deg Celsius - the rooms are...

great location easy access to everything. The hotel reception staff were very nice but not very knowledgeable. We used the hotel across the street to get information and book excursions. Wifi only in lobby. We were generally happy with the experience.

Very central to the beaches and the main sites. At night we could walk to bars and restaurants as the road is well lit and has police. Staff were really helpful too and all spoke english. Bed was quite small but still very good value overall.

The hotel reception staff were polite and friendly, the reception area too bright and welcoming, but once you have crammed yourself in to the small creaking lifts and squeezed out again the hotel takes on a new and less exciting facade. Our superior R$330 double room was more inferior than first mentioned. The bed was pushed up against the wall...

We stayed four nights in two different rooms. Not cheap, but By far the cheapest option except for hostels in high season. The location is perfect in the heart of Ipanema and feels safe. The staff is extraordinary. Almost all speak great English and are super helpful. Special mention to Ivan, who seemed to really go the extra mile. Even...

I travelled to this hotel with a friend over New Years Eve. The hotel is in a perfect location. It's a short stroll from the beach and there are loads of restaurants and bars nearby. The rooms are small and basic - but we spent very little time inside! Also, the cleaning staff were very thorough. The thing that really...

It was the cheapest hotel we could find in that region, so I was expecting it to be horrible. Breakfast was very good, rooms are simple but clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Bus station is right across the street (literaly), metro is close enough and can be reached by bus on lazy days. There is a...

The hotel is clean and a good choice for budget travelers. The rooms are pretty small but given that it is located at the heart of Ipanama and is reasonably priced, make it a good pick. It is located right in front of a bus stop which makes it easy to get around the city. There are direct buses from...
