We stayed here for 10 days for the Paralympics. The location is great with local bars etc close by and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Ten minute walk to the metro station. The staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is good and plentiful. Rooms are comfortable, clean and well serviced. A good hotel for the price and would...

Stayed here for the 2016 Olympics for five weeks and I loved it. One thing I really appreciated about this hotel was the safe environment. The doorman and staff for example close and lock the front doors every night and unlock the doors for hotel guests only. However, if you have guests you should register them with the front desk...

Thanks for posting your comments of Windsor Palace Hotel. It makes me really happy to know you have approved our services. More importante than anything to us is the treatment we give to our guests. We might not have that much space but we try to provide a little bit of everything. So, once again, thanks for all your compliments....

We stayed here during the Olympics and unfortunately paid absolutely exorbitant prices for what we got. The hotel is a good 4 star establishment but you should not be paying more than normal 4 star prices. I blame Cosport for the exorbitant prices for which I would have expected a 5 star luxury hotel - I will not be using...

Stayed here as part of Olympic package, so paid way too much, but that's the Olympics. Don't know regular rate. Gave us a decent-sized 17th floor room, even with a small view (between other buildings) of the Copacabana Beach and the ocean a block away. Bathroom, internet, bed fine. Rooms have safe and mini-bars. Breakfast (included for all) was a...

First, we totally overpaid the hotel and CoSport that was provided the Olympic packages (wont do again - what a rip off) because it was the Rio Games. Rooms are small and a queen bed amounts to 2 singles out together. They squeezed in another single and charged us for a triple! the sheets were soft and bathrooms were clean...

Having visited Brazil 10 years ago, but not Rio, we had always wanted to go back and so started planning our dream trip to Rio in November last year. It was important for us to be near the beach for our son, and to be somewhere where it was easy to get to the different places we wanted to visit....

The room was great with a comfortable bed. One block off the beach with nice restaurants within walking distance. The internet was good and the breakfast was very good for being free. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. All in all, very nice place and worked out great for us.

Had 5 nights in a superior room and enjoyed our stay. Room was a good size with good aircon and wifi. The door to the balcony wouldn't lock so they put in a stick to prevent the door from opening. Reception are great. Always responsive and could answer our questions (in English). The location is good close to the beach...

We stayed in this hotel as part of a 3 day stop in Rio.The hotel is located just 1 block from Copacobana beach which is fantastic but it also means it gets quite a lot of noise from the main road. We were on the 13th floor and it was still very loud. The hotel staff are all very professional....

This is a great hotel. Cleanliness was the key and staff is friendly. Loved the breakfast in the morning. Lots of choices from breads to cakes to fruits. Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
