We were upgraded for a top floor room, with a bathtub and side views of the beach, were stayed three adults and a 2 year-old toddler with all comfort you could imagine. Going up one set of stairs, we reached this beautiful swimming pool with stunning views of Copacabana Beach, some gym equipment and a sauna. The Hotel is located... More

I was not even staying at the hotel but needed some urgent help on a matter. Desperate, I approached the front desk person at the hotel, marx (sp?). He was so friendly, calmed me down and helped with my issue. I can only imagine how they would take care of actual guests.

We ( me and my ten years old daughter) spent two days in this hotel in June 2016. Everything was perfect, but I would like to thank especially to the staff, reception, restaurant, room - maids. The hotel is situated near Copacabana, and thank to the people we were able to enjoy this location, they gave us all the information,... More

We enjoyed a very comfortable 3 night stay here last month. Our 2 triple rooms were clean and spacious if a little dated. Can't speak for the aircon as it wasn't warm enough to need it. Breakfast was excellent with lots of delicious fruit and pastries and a good hot selection too. We ate dinner in the restaurant on our... More

We were three gays staying 6 nights at Mirasol hotel. It so close to Copacabana and and a lot of restaurants around. The room was not big, but enough for us. Very comfy beds. And a big breakfast is waiting for you every morning. The negative to say about this hotel is the AC, very noisy and should be replaced!... More

Only two blocks from Copacabana Beach. Room large enough but air conditioner too noisy to leave on at night. Good service in the restaurant but waited ten minutes at the pool bar while the barman chatted to one of two other tables occupied then totally ignored us. We walked out. Staff generally not very friendly which seems to be the... More

2 night stay to see Rio, room was adequate, clean, comfortable. Air conditioning unit was like having a jet landing. Breakfast was good and the only place we have ever stayed that was delivering a full cooked service at 4.30am, think it might have been something to do with preparation for the Olympics.

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
