Leme Othon Palace is a great hotel. I stayed in Rio for the weekend after a business trip and found the hotel great, both, in terms of location and in terms of standard. I had a superior room facing Copacabana beach which was very clean and very well equipped. I have seen other hotels in Rio, which can clearly not...

We arrived after a long flight to Rio and were immediately welcomed - actually more than welcomed! I am still unsure why we received such wonderful perks for our one-night stay, but it certainly made us feel special. Our room faced the beach and the view was absolutely beautiful. Rio beaches are wide and very beautiful. Our dinner in the...

Location is good but not better than other hotels in Copacabana. Cafeteria is small and crowded over the weekend breakfast, food is basic and coffee TERRIBLE. Front desk and housekeeping services are kind and efficient, the dry cleaning charge for ironing a night dress for my wife was too expensive. My beach front room size was good, window size not...

Situated directly across the street from the famous Copacabana Beach, this hotel met all our needs quite well. Our top-floor room (1608) was large with a king-size bed, 2 work tables, ample closet space, a flat-screen TV (though little used), safe, free Wi-Fi, a well-stocked mini-fridge (also little used), & a big bathroom with amenities (including a hairdryer & telephone)....

Our travel agent booked this through booking.com. We had a large room w/ stocked minifridge (prices high), free wifi, minimal seaview, & a welcome drink. Bath amenities & a sink stopper - our first in Brazil! Location is great - across the multi-lane street from Leme/Copacabana Beach. English-speaking reception staff very helpful. Ample breakfast buffet w/ local fresh fruits, variety...

My wife and I just got back from a quick trip to Rio and stayed at the Leme Othon Palace for 2 nights. The hotel is in a wonderful location, just across the street from Copacabana Beach, away from the giant crowds that line the middle of the beach. In the area around the hotel there are several restaurants, markets,...

Face it. There are hardly any international quality hotels in Rio. The decor in this one is struggling to make it into the 1980s. It reminds me of a mass tourism hotel in the costas in Spain around 20 years ago. But .... the other hotels are worse and this one is right on the beach. The management were very...

We stayed at this hotel for the Carnaval week and while it was very expensive as a result, it was one of the chearer hotels I looked at. In terms of location it is literally just over the road from Copacabana Beech and an easy walk to lots of places to eat. Rooms are big and very clean and all...
