I spent 5 nights at this hotel. When I checked in it was Windsor Atlantica but upon check out, It had become Hilton Copacabana. I am not sure if the change in management/owenership will change things. What I noticed when I was there was the change in towels and toileteries. I was in a deluxe room, which was spacious, clean...

We have now been in this hotel for three days now. This is a fantastic hotel. The location is excellent, the amenities and restaurants are great. The staff at this hotel are fantastic. They go out their way to make sure that the customers are happy. I like to mention Ms. Lucia Bydalek and Mr. Renata Ohira who worked very...

When visiting the Brazilian side of my family for 2 or 3 weeks, we usually stay with family, but often spend 2 or 3 nights in a hotel near the beach too, as the family live out in the suburbs. This is probably my 8th visit to Rio, but I've honestly lost count. Previously we've spent time at the Windsor...

Staff are attentive comfortable rooms great location and security is great. No problems with this hotel a great place to stay in Rio. Very central to the beaches and the rest of Rio can recommend. My only issue if the roof top bar closes at 8 pm would be great if that stayed open longer in the evening

The Windsor Atlantica Hotel is one of the best addresses to stay at in Rio de Janeiro. The location couldn't be any better. Roomservice was delicious and cheap, there's a wide range breakfast buffet with live cooking station and the rooftop (including pool) grants a spectacular view of the sugarloaf mountain, Copacabana and more.

We switched from another hotel in Rio and made last minute reservations online for the Windsor Atlantica Hotel just before leaving the USA. No problem with doing that and the price was USD $275 for one night. The reason we switched was that our city tour with Viator left from the lobby of the Windsor Atlantica at 7:30 am. So...

We stayed 3 nights at the Windsor Atlantic Hotel at Copacabana and the location is first class. The entrance is well armed with a small army of bell boys who are very keen to assist. We had a room on the 14th floor which gave us a side view of Copacabana Beach which was not too bad but not as...

This is a very tall narrow hotel located across the road from Copacabana beach. The room was modern and clean the staff attentive and the restaurant very good with many good quality wines from around the world. Oddly enough only one white and one red from Brazil. The big no no's in this hotel are the lifts or more specifically...

I traveled to Copacabana in April with a friend. We chose this hotel because it's across the street from the beach and offered breakfast included. Breakfast was excellent specifically the omelettes made fresh every day. Lots of options and always fresh. Rooms were small but clean and well maintained. Custodial staff was excellent and always came on time to fix...

English was very basic but the staff's friendliness and eagerness made up for losses in translation. Room was of adequate size and well adorned with basic necessities. The breakfast buffet was mediocre and typical. They were very accommodating with storing our luggage well past check-out time. Would come back again!

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
