The hotel is convenient placed at the main crossroad to and from Copacabana. Quite a lot traffic outside of hotel, but does not disturb your night sleep. The hotel is not brand new, although quite new in the Hilton chain. Thus rooms does not give a modern impression. However, the cleanness of the rooms and the hotel in general is superb. Safety is important in Rio and is well taken care of. The breakfast is served on the 4th floor and is very good, however the service at the table just on the average. Please note that there are several "red light" bars in the neighborhood.
I enjoy the attention I receive at this location. The whole staff is friendly and eager to assist in anyway. I will keep staying at this location anytime I have to visit Rio de Janeiro. Simply amazing !
This hotel has the BEST location it’s directly across the road from Copacabana beach on the left and Leme beach on the right. Hilton have recently taken over the management and are preparing to renovate however we loved the 1970’s look. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a corner suite with huge windows including the bathroom even regular hotel rooms have stunning views. Close proximity to Ipanema beach about Real 10 in Uber for the sites Sugar loaf etc we arranged private tours. Breakfast served on level 4 with amazing views and the selection and quality of the breakfast buffet extremely good. Team Members we encountered were so lovely, friendly and helpful.
Firstly I would recommend this hotel for any Gold or Diamond Honors travelers. Amanda and Renato at the Gold/Diamond reception were wonderfully helpful. I am familiar with this building as I stayed here many years ago when it was a Meridien hotel. Hilton has done a great job in refurbishing the rooms, lobby and amenities. There are some very small signs of wear and tear but very nice for the most part. The breakfast is great, room service is quick. The Room Service menu could have more local choices (rice & beans, Moqueca, Vatapa, etc.). The location is great. It is on the beach (across the street) in Leme at the beginning of Copacabana. It was 10 minute ride to Botafogo and 20 minutes to downtown. The view from the Executive lounge at the lobby level was great. They were working on the upper level (37th floor) at the time I visited. In the past this was a location for a restaurant and bar. This hotel is an excellent value for the money.
beautiful location, just across copacabana beach, shops, restaurants close proximity. Ipenama about 10 minutes taxi ride, nice view of the sun set and people on the beach from our room. Room & breakfast was excellent, reception was helpful with our questions. Will recommend this hotel.

The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful
draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
