The Hotel Ribalta met my expectations. The comfortable mattress, the hallway attendants always carry out excellent cleaning, changing towels every day, they even provided me with another blanket, as I like cold air conditioning, congratulations to the whole team! I can't forget the breakfast, super top, that cappuccino machine!hshahaha and the French toast, what a show! There's a giant pool table to play for free (best part). I stayed at this hotel during a work trip to rio. Looking at the comments before booking, I was expecting a clean, basic “hotel” for a short night stay. Let me say that this is not a hotel, it’s more like a hostel or lodge. Rooms are very basic, linens, towels, toiletries .... everything basic. Not the cleanest or slightly modern of rooms. Breakfast was good though If you are in the city on budget, it’s a decent pick but not if you are looking for slight bit of comfort.

It's impossible to sleep in this Hotel, they host shows and parties right next to it and the music is so loud the windows tremble. Even when asked to turn it down the music kept on long into the night. Bad service and no commerce around this area, if you want to eat a snack you have to walk 1 km. I don't recommend staying here.

I need to make an assessment according to the price I was charged, in this case 1000 reais per day. I don't know how they had the nerve to do that to a customer. They were asking for a bad review. The daily rate is not worth 350 reais.
- With respect to the friendly and helpful staff, the comments below are all negative and directed at the hotel's senior management. - The hotel needs numerous small repairs and maintenance, the floor in the room is stained, several problems with the installation of finishes. - The only cleaning product used must be bleach. When entering the room after cleaning the stench is terrible, it feels like entering a room that has been closed for months and is anti-mold. IT'S TERRIBLE. - The restaurant has an absurd waiting time, 40 minutes for a hot joint. - There is no minibar supply, a joke for a daily rate of 1000 reais. - Breakfast is reasonable. - The internet is unstable and you have to log in all the time - The shower is good, the bed is reasonable.
I wouldn't pay more than 350 reais for this daily rate and I felt extremely aggrieved by the amount I was charged. I believe that due to a big event that took place nearby, they raised the price due to demand. Classic of Rio de Janeiro - usurping tourists whenever possible.
