Pousada do Sandi is a cozy and charming place in the heart of the historic center (you can enjoy the city from the moment you step outside). The rooms are renewed and comfortable and the hotel has a great breakfast. I recommend.

We stayed 2 nights in Pousada do Sandi. The hotel is located in the historic district (taxis will stop about 100 meters from the hotel) of Paraty. We were in room 212 (after we moved from a room in which the A/C was not working). The room was large, nicely decorated with a great bathroom. The hotel is decorated with...

This spot was the highlight of our brief visit to Brazil. Loved the generous breakfast with Brazilian fruit and pastries, the colourful lobby and common areas filled with antiques and local history, and enjoyed our quiet and private bedroom. Will send friends here without a doubt.

It is an old characteristic building in the historic centre of the town. The Pousada is very nicely decorated and it has a lot of potential to be the best Pousada of the town. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. The breakfast is served in a very nice restaurant and has a lot of variety. Some...

The hotel is right in the historic centre of town in an old building which is very nicely decorated. The fact that it is an old building is also a problem: there are many mosquitos! There is no glass in the windows and mosquitos can peep in very easily. It would be very very good if there were mosquito screens...

excellent and promp help since the time you arrive at the car park all the way to recommend extra trips, places to go, in house best breakfast ever, plenty of room for a chat, relaxation, couple of spots for a beer or two or a glass of wine, quiet, close to everything. Nice atmosphere!!!

Loved this hotel for many reasons - bright and quirky decor which gives even more character to the building which is beautiful in its own right. Friendly, attentive staff, fabulous room with balcony looking over a quiet garden area, tasty breakfast and fantastic location for Paraty old town. Had great fun watching the tiny monkeys frolicking in the garden area...

Great location in the historic center, friendly staff and comical marmosets! While this pousada is a little worn, the cheery colors, art, staff and comfy rooms were great for our family. My daughter would have liked vegan options at breakfast.

A beautiful little guest house, in a beautiful small town, full of character and personality. Hotel staff were very friendly. Cobbled streets make getting around fun but tricky. A gorgeous beach just 5mins away. There is also an amazing Gelato store right across from the hotel. A must stay whilst in Brazil.

We wanted to crash out in the heart of this historic small town and the Pousada do Sandi met expectations. A small lobby area off the cobbled streets leads into a downstairs lounge. Reception was courteous and efficient. We were assigned a ground floor room which was not large but faced in to the courtyard and avoided the street noise...

“We were in Room 202 which has a king bed and a balcony facing into the garden. Lovely. The only downside is that we were directly across from the staff laundry/supplies room and we could hear them talking at times. I might recommend the room on the end, Room 201, which is an end room and a bit farther away. Not sure if it has a king bed.”
