The place is very noisy as you can almost hear everhthing the other guest are doing. The rooms are clean but basic. The beds are small and hard. There are almost no channels shown on TV. Wifi connectivity is good. The breakfast is simple and most of the time it doesn't have sufficient amounts for all guests. The only really...

My partner and I chose this posada over the Internet for its location in old town and was pleasantly surprised on arrival to find it right on the waterfront. Beautifully presented and clean property. Perfect location for exploring old town, 5min walk to local bus station/ATMs/supermarket/laundry/restaurants etc. Staff were super friendly & helpful with answering out many questions in English....

We stayed a few nights with my wife an kids and we liked it a lot. It's in the historical part of the city, probably in the best spot facing the ocean. It's walking distance from all the attractions and 4 minutes from all major restaurants. We took one of the largest rooms with a double bed and 3 single...

Pousada do cais is very located right in front of the small port in the heart of the historical town. The rooms are small, basic but clean and well maintain. If you can book the one with ocean view ! Breakfast is simple with coffee, tea, hot milk, fresh fruits and toast. The staff are fantastic, very helpful, hats off...

We were a couple with 5 teenager girls and had booked three rooms. As one of the rooms was very big and the 5 girls could have stayed in that room, we could have saved one room, good to know for next time. The hotel is simple but clean with spacious rooms, very well located next to the center and...

The problems started when we want a room with a sea view, but there was none available at the time of booking, so we chose a room with a garden view. When we reached the hotel the reality was different, the view was ... the front bedroom window! Adding to this was a bad wifi, impossible to use, whether on...

This mansion is not large nor new, but matches perfectly the style of the fishermen's village it is located in. The room was comfortable, clean and had a nice atmosphere: it was homely enough to compensate for the lack of fanciness. People at the desk were friendly and helpful when needed. It is close enough to the town center, which...

I stayed for 4 nights with 2 adult daughters. My room faced the harbour and was large, stylish and comfortable. My daughters' room was dry nice although it faced a rather shaded internal courtyard. The place was spotless, nicely restored and breakfasts were generous. This is one of the best places in town to stay and, arguably, the most attractively...

“I stayed in what I think was the best room (8), on the first floor, with 2 large front doors, and a small balcony facing the quay. There are other rooms, also facing the quay, but with windows instead of doors. And the are rooms with windows facing indoors to the common patio.”
