This was our first time to Ilha Grande and Rennie the owner was so welcoming and gave us all the best guidance for where to go, what to do and the best restaurants on the island. Aratinga Inn is just beautiful, set just away from the main village but within easy walking distance the accommodation is lovely and staff so...

Rennie, the manager, was fantastic in all ways. She is very attentive and not only takes care of the place (which is very special) but also is the best guide for the island. We are very grateful to her. The place is calm and clean an sorrounded by vegetation, that makes a great atmosphere.

This was our first visit to Ilha Grande. Aratinga is a charming pousada just up the hill from the center of town. The staff is friendly and professional. It is clear that every detail is taken care of. The afternoon tea was a delightful surprise! Blazing fast wifi, which is quite unusual in Brazil. Rennie gave us great advice so...

If I'd known how great the Aratinga Inn was, and how much there is to do on Ilha Grande, I would have happily spent longer than our 4 nights. From the moment you arrive, the owner, Rennie (Australian) makes you feel like a welcome family friend. She is very keen to make sure that you don't waste any time or...

My stay here with a friend was amazing! It was the perfect destination for "active relaxation" and the owner Rennie, is a caring and knowledgable hostess. She has great recommendations for restaurants and info for hikes and excursions, already written up in a visitor's book. Rennie even recommended and arranged a massage for us on a rainy day! There was...

We stayed at Aratinga Inn for three nights and found it very hard to leave - it is the perfect place to relax and make the most of your time on Ilha Grande. “We stayed in one of the original rooms of the Inn. There are some newer rooms that look really nice so of going back again I would try to book. However, we got one of the last rooms available this time, but would definitely go back!”
