First we had a room without a window!! We could change the room, but it was really musty too and we got a rush from the bed linen. Unfortunetly all double rooms are on the groundfloor with no possibilty to hang out in the garden. The breakfast is in the cellar, what is really disgusting. We definetly could not recommend... We stayed here for 2 nights on our first trip to Ilha Grande & have to say I was pleasantly surprised. After reading the reviews I was unsure what to expect but we were very happy with our room & the service. Breakfast was fine, although the juice was not very nice. The room was big, clean & comfortable -... More

I don't mind a simple standard, but this was just a warn down and neglected pousada. Leaky faucet, malfunctioning ventilator, no effort to provide charm to the bedrooms, and the more than 20 red marks on my body do not resemble mosquito bites. Ended up here as the other place cancelled on us at the last minute. If next time... More

I stayed here for several weeks, and had a great time. Couldn't ask more for the price. Great location, very quiet, extremely secure. The staff answered every request we had right away, and always gave us great information. I even forgot my snorkeling gear when I left the island, and they delivered it to me in another city, free of... More

Our room was mouldy. There were live wires in the shower secured only by insulation tape. The sheets were old and had stains. The room was small. There was rubbish from the last guests. Our room was ajoined to the kitchen and only seperately by wooden hard board in the shower so we could clearly hear other guests in our... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights and had such a good time. The pousada was clean, good price, room had a fridge and air conditioner, good shower, in a great location, quiet at night, secure, really good breakfast, and the staff were so helpful! The woman and her husband that were looking after the place gave us... More

Stayed 3 nights and rooms comfortable, but no aircon, just a fan. However, evenings are cool, so this isn't much of a problem. Free wifi, but service is patchy. Breakfast is only $6 Rials and not bad, but you need to put your name down the night before. It also has a little balcony to have a few drinks and... More

Rather rude staff, they seemed to be more concerned with their Facebook accounts and preparing for a party with friends than with welcoming the guests. "Here is the key" was basically the extent of the welcome, even though we were apparently the only guests staying there upon our arrival. Breakfast was very very basic on the first day, though a... Not a bad pousada at all. For us it was about a 10min walk from the ferry, but if you're a little less mobile it might take you longer (all flat though). The breakfasts were good, with the standard selection of bread, cheese, ham, fruits and some remarkably tasty cakes. The rooms are small but not restrictive, similar to the... More
