Super stylish boutique hotel a 10 minute walk outside Buzios. Originally built by Argentines, it has since been taken over by a Portugese company and was likely the best hotel we stayed in throughout our year in S. America. We splurged for the royal suite (about $180/night with their 3 for 2 promotion) and enjoyed a very spacious room with...

We stayed at the Master Suite and the room was big and had a great view. The hotel is about 15 min walk from Rua das Pedras/Orla Bardot (however the road we have to walk is not very nice-dark), but we rent a car to get to see all the beaches. Maps are not very good over there, but we...

Gisele, Alex and Xavier and the staff are so welcoming and friendly, we felt very settled and relaxed in their hotel - despite a couple of problems, which everyone did their absolute best to sort out as swiftly as possible. We originally had a junior suite which was very well furnished but was very dark due to the attractive but...

We stayed 4 days/3 nights at Porto Bay Glenzhaus. We spent a very good time at the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good and the room (junior suite) was very comfortable. You find everything you need for a pleasant stay. The fitness center is small but ok for a short workout with some weights....

My partner and I stayed at Glenzhaus for 3 nights in Dec 2009 following a week spent in Rio. Upon arrival you are met by Friendly reception staff, offering a welcome drink and advice on where to go and what to see. During our stay, we stayed in one of Glenzhaus Junior Suites. The room was very clean, spacious with...

You'll be sure to be given a warm welcome by friendly hosts. We had a nice, big comfortable room, which provided lots of privacy. However, a slighly moudy bathroom could have done with a lick of paint. The pool is a very good size for a guesthouse with so few rooms, and is also very private. It offers peace and...

We stayed in the Royal Suite, and after spending a week in a very basic room in NE Brazil, this was a sheer luxury. The room was very tastefully decorated and the bathroom was larger than many found in most NY hotels and better furnished. The service was personal and friendly and the staff made you feel special - The...

Really nice rooms, great setting, friendly staff, nice breakfast, etc. Just a little pricey and a little further from town than expected. We had a car so it was fine, but I could understand people not wanting to walk 10 mins to town on a fairly dark street at night. Otherwise, it was a great stay. Beautiful views, great heated...

We stayed here for 6 nights and although we have nothing to complain about it wasn't what I was expecting based on the reviews and thought it was very over priced for what we received.
