This hotel was nicely appointed and decorated in the main areas. However, because you are so far from the city, you are pretty much stuck eating at their restaurant on site. It was okay. The taxi cost to go into the city for dinner and back is $R 100.00. I would recommend staying in the city for a choice of...

I am not going to pretend that this hotel will get you excited but we were definitely more than happy with our choice. The hotel is has a pretty good location just outside the National Park and we thought the rooms were clean, modern and pretty good value for what we were paying. The swimming pool is all decent enough....

In a city where there are not too many high-quality and reasonably-priced options, this was a great find. What attracted us was the large and beautifully forested property with trails and bird-life. The lobby and common areas are well designed with large, wooden-framed open areas and great light. It is an easy walk to both the Bird Park (Parque das...

If you plan to visit the falls on the Brazilian side, this hotel is in a great location. It's 5 mins from the park entrance by foot! Close to the airport but quite far from Foz town (about 20 mins in a cab). Fairly good 3 star ish rooms which were clean and quiet. Nice grounds with a decent pool....

We were there at the beginning of our journey for 2 nights. The hotel is very good situated (5 min from the brasilian side of the falls/park entrance and right beside the bird park). Nice, large lobby & Bar. Do not reserve a standart room (take the superior one because of the size, bath and sun). The hotel was clean...

I spent 3 and a half weeks in Brazil and Argentina and this was the worst place of the trip. The hotel is avarage but the service is so bad it is unbelivable. Hardly anyone speaks English and they are very rude with a bad attitide. Staff training is in serious need as unfortunatly I would not recommed anyone to...

Beautiful, outstanding hotel, located next to the entrance to the Iguacu falls park. The hotel is in lodge style, on a single level, in a huge tropical park, with trails leading down to the river. The rooms are simple, but adequate and in any case you aren't going to use them for anything but sleeping. There's a nice swimming pool,...

Very friendly staff! Hotel is not expensive. Food is good, although I can not understand why bacon for breakfast is an extra you have to pay for. Rooms are clean and spacous enough. The birds from the the parc des aves, which is nearby, are very early in the morning beginning to communicate; jungle-feelings. There is no wlan in the...

San Martin Hotel is located within a few minutes' walk to the entrance of the Brazil side of the Iguacu Falls park. Although the location was wonderful and the resort grounds look lovely, I would not recommend this place as a base point for travelers who wish to see the falls. Foz do Iguacu is only about a 40 minute...
