Don't expect anything fancy here. This is very much a basic, no frills choice that is clean and functional. It is simply a place to stay, nothing more or less. The room was big but very spartan and in some need of an update. It included a kitchenette (microwave, fridge and a very limited number of utensils) which we didn't...

This is an "Apartment Hotel", meaning that our room had a kitchenette with fridge (not working), a microwave, and a table and chairs. With no dishes or cutlery, and only a single cup and a single glass, we were not going to be doing much cooking. Not were we going to spend much time in the room, which was cold...

An apartment hotel in a pedestrian street in downtown Curitiba. For 150 R$ I was given a spacious suite, with a reasonably equipped kitchenet. Clean but a little bit rundown, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was ok, the personnel very nice. Car parking was provided for 15 R$ per day. I did not use wifi but a friend who did said...

I spent a month in Curitiba for work. Having a fridge and a microwave is essential unless you want to eat out every night. The only meal served was breakfast, and this was reasonable, although the menu remained unchanged for the whole month that I was there, with only the large selection of cakes changing regularly. This is a simple...

Right in the centre of Curitiba, spacious rooms with kitchenette and dining areas and great showers. We were able to buy a few beers from reception and have some drinks in the rooms as well which wasn't a problem for them. Check out the chocolate shop on the same street for an afternoon indulgent snack.

Dont expect too much but if you are after a place to sleep which is in the right of the city this is the place for you. I stayed for 1 night in a three single beds room by myself as part of a group tour to Rio. The room is functional in terms of clean bed sheets but the...

L'Avenue is a slightly threadbare, conveniently located place at the eastern end of the pedestrian area in the city centre. The flats (a bedroom and a sitting room) are clean and you get kitchenette with a microwave, a fridge and a sink. The staff is helpful and may even speak english, The historical quarter is 5 minutes away on foot...

Nice, clean hotel in the pedestrian zone (main shopping street). All the sights, and the 2 main shopping complex are within walking distance. Rooms were large and clean, with kitchenettes (microwave, fridge) and sofas- the furniture was a bit dated though. Free WiFi throughout the hotel. The breakfast room on the 8th floor has a lovely terrace where you can...

Stayed here for one night whilst travelling on an organised trip. Room was huge and contained three beds, room safe, microwave and fridge. Shower was pretty good but had huge issues with the toilet - initially the toilet wouldn't flush, then I opened the cistern, broke something inside and ended up flooding the bathroom, half the bedroom and corridor. The...

We stayed at this hotel for a month. The location is ideal. Being located in the center of the city with easy access to bus lines and the pedestrian mall is prime. The rooms are clean and the morning breakfast is well-prepared. If you are staying during the Brazilian winter, its worth noting that the rooms have heat. The room...

“The street below is a pedestrian only, but the higher the room the better. Unless you're right below the breackfast room on the 8th floor, in which case you'll wake up to the sound of chairs being dragged on the tiles. Try for the 6th floor.”
