I vacationed in Fortaleza several times so I know many things about this marvelous Brazilian city including the different areas and suburbs, which means beaches, hotels and people, among other facts. I am of the opinion that Praia Do Futuro is the beast beach in Fortaleza being the reasons that it is never crowded, there are so many "barracas" along the beach, it is far from downtown (I am aware for many others, this is a drawback but I see it positively), water is warmer, and locals are happier here.

I had been incidentally staying in Crocobech hotel a couple of years ago (so before the pandemic) and since then I will never forget the kind and welcoming personnel working in this hotel. I recall Amanda, a talkative and easy-going receptionist who was always smiling and emanating good waves as well as Camilo, an amiable and efficient waiter working then in the restaurant, who knew Brazilian fruits so well specially the acerola served as dessert. I was so sad to learn that both of them are not in the Crocobeach anymore... but the current staff is equally charming and pleasurable!

As I booked a half-board rate I was again able to savour the exuberant "all you can eat" dinner being so tasty in the pleasant environment of the restaurant. The variety of meals available are the typical of a Brazilian and Cearan menu and as a foreigner it is possible to get introduced to local flavors and delicacies in a didactical manner. The buffet breakfast has also a distinctive seal making Crocobeach a culinary paradise, which can also be extended to the Crocobeach barraca, which is part of the Crocobeach complex. Complimentary entrance to the Crocobeach barraca is included when booking a room in the hotel and discounts for meals and beverages are given.

More remarkable features in the hotel comprehend the Business Center equipped with a desktop computer and a big table. Perhaps the addition of a printer would convert it in a full service unit. Wi Fi works great for guests with notebooks and mobile devices. The swimming pool is ample and has a second level in a first floor, which is particularly suitable to contemplate the astounding sunset. Waiters can serve meals and drinks while in the swimming pool area.

When needing transportation, Cabify, 99 and Uber come very fast so although city center is far it is possible to arrive in 10 to 15 minutes. Unfortunately, and because of the pandemic, this time there were almost no Argentine customers, who provide a regional approach to the hotel climate. Guest rooms are modernly ambianced and that is one of the traits that atracts me to come back to this hotel once again! And would love to meet agents such as Amanda and Camilo in my next stay!

The hotel is very good, tasty smell, comfortable bed, restaurant and bar very good, the staff are all very attentive, the outside area has a pool and heated jacuzzi. Not counting for breakfast that's 10/10. In the room are available toilet kit, shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, also has a hair dryer. The complex on the beach is very good, hotel guests have a discount, and for every 50 reais in consumption you can request a caipirinha, coconut water or mineral water. Please inform the hotel about all the benefits as we only knew after we could have requested free sunbeds.

Very good hotel, new and practical. They think of everything for the comfort of their guests. The elevators are fast. They have a good and equipped baby pantry that is open 24 hours a day on the ground floor. The hotel staff are very kind, with the exception of a night employee at the reception who welcomed us on the first day and was kind enough to help us with some questions (we needed a pharmacy to buy some items that I forgot in Rio for my son). ) and a snack for him and the employee made no attempt to help us and/or inform us where we could find a pharmacy and pizzeria for our son to eat.
The rooms are great, super clean and full. The TV is modern and smart, with a variety of closed channels and streaming packages. Our room didn't have such a nice view as it was on the 1st floor. Breakfast is a show in itself, with a Nespresso machine for cappuccino, chocolate and coffee, tapioca and freshly made omelettes... as well as sparkling wines and various juices. I found the restaurant's meals to be a bit high priced and there was a lack of options for children. At night we also had no option nearby, as we had children, we had to take the rented car and go to Iracema beach to entertain him on the toys, there is NOTHING to do at night in the hotel or surrounding areas, besides it being deserted and dangerous. Another point that in my opinion needs to improve is the entertainment for children, which is limited to the crocobeach tent during the day, there could be at least an outdoor playground (they have an excellent toy library but it is underground, it ends up not being functional or attractive for the children).

Structure: The hotel looks nice from the outside, but from the inside it is actually a bit rundown and disappointing. The bathroom sink is tilted frontward, so whenever you wash your hands, the water splashes and spills towards you. It's a real mess. The shower box leaks water everywhere over the floor. And the balcony door/window is not insulated, so you can perfectly hear the neighbors talking and laughing at the next door balcony. Moreover, the windows are not tightly fit in place, so that when there is wind (the WHOLE time in Fortaleza in the end/beginning of the year), the doors and windows start trembling and banging, which adds to the noisy setup. To complete a perfect night's sleep, the balcony lights stay ON 24 hours a day! So imagine: you trying to sleep, you hear the neighbors at their balcony, the winds rocking the windows and the bedroom lit by the outside (which you can't turn off!)

Restaurant: great food. Delicious dinner, quite varied breakfast. Everyday they have different menus. The downside: very often the hot food is actually cold... and the cold desserts are hot (because they're not under refrigeration)!

Cleanliness: It's OK, the maid comes everyday tidy up the room.

Note on the Covid-19 context: The hotel staff completely lacked surveillance towards guests. Even though the staff always used masks and kept distance from other people, they did not enforce the sanitary rules. In the restaurant, many times I say other guests walking around and grabbing their food without the "mandatory" masks and gloves (provided in the restaurant). And the employees would see it, but just ignore it...

Location: Crocobeach is just a street-crossing away from the Praia do Futuro beach, which is quite nice. To reach the hotel's beach complex (with restaurant, deckchairs, water park, and so on) it takes about 3min walking along the shoreline. However, this beach is among the most polluted in the city, and crowded with street vendors (really, every minute someone will stop by and disturb you trying to sell something).

Frankly, if you want a better beach and a more reputable hotel, search for the Beach Park. At least, the beach is waaay better than Praia do Futuro.

We really like it. Spacious and clean, comfortable rooms, lots of closets and a fantastic view. The bathroom can be modernized.
The breakfast is excellent. We had lunch one day at the hotel and we ⁇ it a lot. The toy shop is well-groomed and hygienized, very cool for young children. The pool area is good and enough for those who prefer the quiet of the hotel. And the staff are very polite and attentive. A special highlight for SILAS, the reception, which was very kind and attentive.

I've been wanting to visit this hotel for a while, I took advantage of a promotion to do so. Without a doubt, it is a great hotel, relatively new and well located (considering that we are on the beach of the future) close to very good beach kiosks. The staff are polite and attentive, and when I needed it, the attendant Felipe helped me a lot.

I found the standard room to be somewhat small but comfortable, it has everything we needed (sockets, great TV, internet working well, good quality mattress, very good towels), and silent air conditioning (phew!). The beach of the future turns into a desert at night, this has the advantage of being good for our sleep. The only annoying thing is that I had a problem with a huge water leak (coming from above) in my room, so I complained to Felipe at the reception, and he promptly managed to change my room, allocating me to a much bigger and better one, So there was a good side to this story.

As for the common areas, I thought that 2 elevators is not enough for the number of guests, and you still need to call them individually. The restaurant is good, the breakfast is good and complete, although I thought I could wait a little longer due to the size of the hotel.

The pool is very good and heated (but from the photos it seemed to be bigger), and has 3 very good hot tubs. I recommend spending time in them.

Another negative point: the hotel does not have its own parking (nor agreements).

I believe it is an excellent hotel for families with children, or elderly people, as the various kiosks that are located right next to the hotel, including the hotel complex itself, are very good for those with families. Based on my profile, I ended up not enjoying it much. I would definitely stay again if an opportunity or promotion comes up again.

Crocobeach is a wonderful hotel, I highly recommend it. The lamb fillet with mushroom rice and cassava puree is divine! But wait, I need to tell you about the room first: spacious, huge bathroom, balcony too! I slept listening to the sound of the sea, it was delicious. I took advantage and went to the Crocobeach Complex, obviously: those who are at the hotel get 15% on everything sold there, it's really worth it! I had a LOT of fun with Dion Queiroz. I loved!
The entire team is wonderful! Brawni (CrocoBeach waiter) Dalva, Pedro, Felipe, Letícia, Vítor... these names were the ones I managed to record, but EVERYONE treated me VERY well. The breakfast is wonderful, there's even champagne, think about it! French toast, corn cured, oh! I highly recommend the hotel! I'll be back for sure!

For the price paid, I thought it would be much better. Very small room, door lock falling apart, no blanket available even if asked at reception. Breakfast is the same every day, not to mention that the restaurant staff are unfriendly and even asked which room we had, although they didn't ask for everyone. In the minds of the employees and the owner, the hotel is spectacular, but it is far from that.
Regarding benefits, it only applies on weekdays, weekends do not include free swimming pools.

Hotel with great facilities and very clean and beautiful rooms. The venom is delicious and so is the breakfast.
The location is in front of Praia do Futuro and easily accessible from the Crocobeach tent.
I will definitely come back and bring my family along.

I would like to thank Mr. Camilo for his attention and impeccable service, who was sweet to me throughout my stay, Letícia, always smiling and attentive, and Valeria, both from the restaurant.

I would also like to thank Marisa at reception for explaining everything to me with attention and cordiality.
