I went with my 2 children and I was very frustrated because the toy library was not freely accessible, it had opening and closing times (closed before 6pm) in the middle of high season with the hotel full of children.
The breakfast is very simple and with little variety, there are long queues to be served, super incompatible with the daily rate, I saw several dissatisfied guests.
The service is cold and raw, only the Messenger is very kind and polite, the others are not. In addition to not being at all affectionate with the guests who choose this place to spend family moments, the staff is very uninformed. They didn't know anything about children's programming. I stayed for 7 days and only managed to participate in 1 program and that was by chance.
The manager was extremely harsh, rude and humiliated me, causing embarrassment. I was with two children and had to return to reception, as he did not want to accept the confirmed reservation with proof. How can a hotel classified as 4 stars allow such behavior?
I ask the hotel: if I made a confirmed reservation and received confirmation, why does an employee say that he will not accept it at check-in? As a consumer, in addition to a free refund, I demand a clear position from Hotel Marina Park in this situation.
I in no way accept this situation and the discomfort caused by Mr. Júnior. My children left the reception crying. My reservation number is: 15328125-5153.
I have several points to say:
1st: poor location; close to many walkways, because it makes safety doubtful;
2nd: the room we stayed was awful, we had to change the room twice, but none exceeded our expectations, even the generator is located under the window of the room, it looked like there was a tractor inside the room, impossible to rest / sleep.
3rd: terrible bathrooms, we had to change 3 times room to take a bath... 1 day only with hot, in the rest cold bath, impossible to relax.
We were already tired of complaining, we finally got a cold bath anyway;
4th: prehistoric and noisy air conditioning;
5th breakfast with very few varieties;
What is the point of having a huge pool, if within the accommodation there is no comfort?!
Anyway, if someone told me these points, we would never have stayed at the Marina Park Hotel.
Hotel with infiltration when it rains, water running down the walls on the fourth floor, and dripping water on the ceiling.
Corridor without ventilation and with a bucket to catch drippings on the ceiling.
The bedroom door gets stuck and you get stuck, what about in an emergency?
Breakfast: the fruits were colorless and tasteless, and the breads were not fresh/new, the coffee was simple.
I requested a change of cold shower room.
When in doubt, don't go!!!
It may have been good at one time, but today it needs repairs.
These were my experiences.

"Insist on a room on the 3rd floor or above to avoid the conference room noise problem I mention in my review. Do *not* pay extra for the "ocean view" rooms, there are no balconies so you really can't enjoy the ocean view."Read full review
