Hotel does not deliver what is advertised. Problems with air conditioning maintenance and mattresses in the rooms, we had to ask for the mattress to be changed. There are not enough towels for the number of guests, we are tired of charging for towels. For us gauchos, they charge $8.50 liter for hot water for chimarrão and complain that they have to heat it. It would be so simple to have an electric kettle available to guests. Due to the name and advertising of the hotel, they leave a lot to be desired.

The hotel is huge, located further away from the hustle and bustle of the seafront and with a beautiful view.
I went with my 2 children and I was very frustrated because the toy library was not freely accessible, it had opening and closing times (closed before 6pm) in the middle of high season with the hotel full of children.
The breakfast is very simple and with little variety, there are long queues to be served, super incompatible with the daily rate, I saw several dissatisfied guests.
The service is cold and raw, only the Messenger is very kind and polite, the others are not. In addition to not being at all affectionate with the guests who choose this place to spend family moments, the staff is very uninformed. They didn't know anything about children's programming. I stayed for 7 days and only managed to participate in 1 program and that was by chance.

Unfortunately the hotel is ABANDONED. I stayed 10 times, but this last one was very bad. I waited 45 minutes for a roll of toilet paper, the TV in the room had few channels with good sound and images, they took the ice cream from the pool and everything you get there you have to pay for on the spot, in a room for 4 people you can only get 2 towels beach, bad smell in the pool (after Anita show). They focus on shows and forget about the Hotel. Unfortunate

Today, 02/17/2023, at 3:17 pm, I was highly treated by manager Júnior Barbosa. I made a reservation in Josiane's name, indicating the number of people as necessary. When checking in, Mr. Júnior Barbosa refused to accept the reservation, claiming that the decision was his. Even though I explained and provided proof that all names were on the reservation, I was informed that he would not accept it and would cancel it, resulting in discomfort for me and my family.

The manager was extremely harsh, rude and humiliated me, causing embarrassment. I was with two children and had to return to reception, as he did not want to accept the confirmed reservation with proof. How can a hotel classified as 4 stars allow such behavior?

I ask the hotel: if I made a confirmed reservation and received confirmation, why does an employee say that he will not accept it at check-in? As a consumer, in addition to a free refund, I demand a clear position from Hotel Marina Park in this situation.

I in no way accept this situation and the discomfort caused by Mr. Júnior. My children left the reception crying. My reservation number is: 15328125-5153.

Bed with spring mattress cannot be moved as it shakes the entire bed, very old hotel does not match the photos in the ad. There was everything from the rooms next door. Very good reception but at checkout the receptionist didn't even look at us. The minibar only had 250 ml water and was charged 8.25 each.

I bought two tickets for New Year's Eve at Marina Park, we paid 800 reais each with the promise that we would have premium drinks throughout the event. Firstly, the drinks that were presented on the day of the event were of poor quality, there were few places to get drinks, forming huge queues and the worst part is that the drinks ran out 2 hours into the event. We even ran out of water. They closed a place that was sheltering people during the rain, causing several people to leave right after New Year's Eve, and the party was expected to go on until 8am.

The room we stayed in was completely decadent, the bathroom mirror was stained, the bedroom window had a garbage bag glued to it with masking tape, the curtain was glued to the wall with masking tape. On the last day we had to take a cold shower, we informed the reception about what had happened, as we would need to take a shower to check out and nothing was resolved. The breakfast was good and so was the pool, but the room left something to be desired.

The hotel needs to improve in ALL, less the care of the staff.
I have several points to say:
1st: poor location; close to many walkways, because it makes safety doubtful;

2nd: the room we stayed was awful, we had to change the room twice, but none exceeded our expectations, even the generator is located under the window of the room, it looked like there was a tractor inside the room, impossible to rest / sleep.

3rd: terrible bathrooms, we had to change 3 times room to take a bath... 1 day only with hot, in the rest cold bath, impossible to relax.
We were already tired of complaining, we finally got a cold bath anyway;

4th: prehistoric and noisy air conditioning;

5th breakfast with very few varieties;

What is the point of having a huge pool, if within the accommodation there is no comfort?!

Anyway, if someone told me these points, we would never have stayed at the Marina Park Hotel.

Positive points: view and room space. Only! The hotel is old and needs updating. The room is large, but not cozy. In the bathroom, the toilet is facing the door, and there is also a yellowish bathtub with a shower inside! Terrible! The room has floor air conditioning, and it didn't make our room cold. Breakfast is an area, lots of people at the same time, a mess. I hated it! I would never go back

Hotel in poor condition:

Hotel with infiltration when it rains, water running down the walls on the fourth floor, and dripping water on the ceiling.

Corridor without ventilation and with a bucket to catch drippings on the ceiling.

The bedroom door gets stuck and you get stuck, what about in an emergency?

Breakfast: the fruits were colorless and tasteless, and the breads were not fresh/new, the coffee was simple.

I requested a change of cold shower room.

When in doubt, don't go!!!

It may have been good at one time, but today it needs repairs.

These were my experiences.

Answer from Paulo C

No banheiro do quarto em que nos hospedamos tinha apenas cortina. E era bem ruim pois o "box" era sobre uma banheira e, com a cortina, cada vez que tomávamos banho molhava todo o banheiro.
