Detailed Reviews
This is a large modern hotel in a building 19 floors high, a couple of blocks off the shore of Iracema. The hotel itself is great, Iracema not so much. If you are just looking for a comfortable place to stay, this hotel would be a wonderful choice. If you want a lively place to walk around stay somewhere in Meireles.
For the price of a room I got a suite in the 18th floor, with a living room, a kitchen and a bedroom with a comfy bed. The suite was modestly furnished, but the view of the ocean from the balcony was great. There was a safe in the room for added security. Breakfast was good, and the fish dinner which I had in the hotel one night was tasty.
The hotel is across the street from the very disappointing so called night life center of Iracema. Several guidebooks recommend this area for a stroll or an evening meal, but what I found was a mostly deserted couple of streets with a few empty, unattractive bars. There are two night clubs which are very well attended by the locals. One, Pirata, plays Forro dance music some nights during the week, and the other is a comedy club. Except for those, which hold very little attraction for a foreign tourist, there is practically very little else. The beach promenade is well paved, but separated by a barrier from adjacent buildings and so it was completely deserted at night, and not very attractive during the day. The rest of the area is shabby. For a better choice, stay in Meireles which has an attractive beach grown with palm trees, a night market and enough people strolling at night to make it safe.
Even though the beach is near, swimming is not recommended because it is deserted, so it may attract muggers. The sea itself seems to have strong waves and perhaps pollution, due to its proximity to the port.

This hotel is almost awful. It seems abandoned in some parts. I think the staff do what it's possible to be done with such facilities. Is not expensive, of course, that's the reason beacuse it could be a last option for travelers.

Rooms are OK but way too loud! You can hear every whisper of the street, even from the highest floors. Why not quieter windows? Same same for corridors and walkways.
Very good breakfast and well qualified staff.

I stayed in the hotel from June 28 to July 7, 2024.
The hotel is old. While some of the staff may be nice, this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Fortaleza. Don’t ask for a view of the beach: a kind of karaoke almost works in front of it from 10pm to 5am with people screaming into their microphones and music flooding the whole neighborhood.
So loud (and simple glazing) that it is impossible to sleep.
2 elevators for 20 floors and do not rely on photos of the pool...

Upon arrival I have noticed the neighbourhood was not what has been advertised. Close to the worst part of Iracema beach.
Hotel old residential building adapted for Hotel. Very bad manteined, with terrible service.
I have changed my room 4 times.
Furniture are old, and very bad maintened.
Rooms dirty, and you can feel the tiredness of wall papers and furniture.
Was a disaster experience. The worst for me was I have bought the Hotel through a site recommendation, and when contacted them I heard that they could not help me out and I should find alternative accommodation myself.
Be careful with this sites, you may had to expend more after, as I have done having breakfast out everyday even when was included on my package.
Another disappointment was the poor buffet breakfast.
This
Hotel is for young and party people looking for a Hostal and don't care about confort.
I had to buy spray to kill ants in my room, because the Hotel could not provide.
Terrible experience.

The hotel itself looks great. The bed was soft and the toilet stopped flushing properly after a few nights. The hotel staff wanted to move me to another room, but the location of the room was great and I was too lazy to pack my bags and move again; it was the fourth hotel I stayed in in Fortaleza in less than three weeks. The area is easy enough to explore from here via bus, but I got no sleep at night. Great for party heads, but I need my xyzzzz's! If you need to feel really safe and appreciate a good night's rest, than go one of the hotels on Beira Mar Avenue. Otherwise, this should be good enough.

The location, structure and food of the restaurant are very good. Reception staff is attentive and Ana of the restaurant was cute with us, giving all the tips of the region. We made the Reservation by booking and it was an excellent cost-effective.

Poor sound insulation, especially if you are staying at the front, internet in the room was constantly fluctuating, old decoration/facilities, general service (delayed) left something to be desired. In short, my experience was not positive and therefore I do not recommend this hotel
