With a good location, the hotel offers impeccable service. The reception staff is well prepared to serve guests, so that we feel welcome to the city. The rooms are very spacious, well organized, with a large bathroom, a good view of the balcony and the maidens are very diligent with the arrangement. The breakfast service offers a variety of dishes, as well as delicacies made on time. In the matter of leisure has two swimming pools, adult and children, hydromassage, sauna and gym. Overall, it is a hotel where you can stay without worry, where a high quality service is offered.

The accommodation was amazing, the hotel has a great location, with sea views and a beautiful sunset, the staff are friendly and attentive.
The room is quite spacious, as it is an older construction has some details that prove this. But nothing to interfere with the stay.
Super complete and very tasty breakfast!

Extra ordinary view!! A perfect view of the whole sky line of fortaleza. And amazing view of the sea! Inn my opinion one of the best places to get a good view from your room, if that’s what makes your vacation more wonderful. The room had great space and was well cleaned! The pool area is a bit small so if that’s what you are after this is not the right hotel for that. A lot of security on both sides of the hotel. And staff were not so good at English, but we were able to communicate. They also charge 150 real for bringing guests to the room. the Breakfast was okey. the restaurant menu was rather expensive. But the view did it for me! Also my main reason for choosing Iate Placa Hotel.

The hotel's only positive points are the location, which offers a spectacular view of the sea, and the (apparently) recently renovated pool area.
Other than that, everything is very bad. It looks like an old hotel that needs urgent renovation. The facilities are bad and old, and the service needs to improve a lot, as it is far from being good at all. On one of the days we stayed, the restaurant was super crowded and there were only 3 employees in the room. Total disorganization. There were not enough employees to do the minimum service, which is replacing dishes.
I don't recommend it.

The view is exceptional (it's the best point by far) and the rooms are spacious, but with antique furniture. Old and noisy air conditioning, which made sleeping uncomfortable (there was no point in complaining). Small TV that doesn't turn on/off using the remote. Bathroom with single-ply toilet paper, of poor quality. Still in the bathroom, there are no windows and the extractor fan didn't work. The shower is inside a bathroom, making access difficult for the elderly or people with limited movement. Old towels, 1/2 star hotel standard.
Breakfast is good and the restaurant prices are not exorbitant.
It's not a hotel that makes you want to stay again. I stayed in a superior double room with sea view.

Good service, specific deficiencies regarding the delay in check-in at the entrance. Large, well-appointed room, everything very clean. Good breakfast. Reasonable pool area, small, but meets general needs.

Great location, facing the river, an amazing view and close to restaurants. Good service, very welcoming, friendly and attentive staff. Room spacious, clean and decorated, and besides the bed was comfortably soft.

On my return trip to Fortaleza, I thought I could do it on the cheap and booked a room at the Golden Tulip to save some money but I should have known that you always get what you pay for. The location is located at the far end of the main Beira Mar strip far removed from the main people watching scene of Beira Mar, and is right next to a typical favela notorious for crushing poverty and crime you always hear about. If you want to be centrally located where all the people watching scene is at, then this is not the place. However, if you want to be next to the city's main fish market, then this is the right place for you. I got a real crappy room, second floor with a view of the next door cantina and it was a nightmare with the constant stream of customers all throughout the day and night blaring their music all night long. I tried in vain to request another room, but the hotel was booked solid so I just had to stew in my frustration vowing that I would remember this slight vowing to never spend my gringo dollars at this hotel ever again. To be fair, there were some good points about the hotel. The structure itself is spacious and airy, the rooms are always clean and the bathroom is spacious and comfortable. However, my AC was pretty weak and always on the fritz so it began to grate on me as it was a struggle to consistently maintain the temperature I wanted without calling the service technician. The staff was very friendly however and I'll give them credit for trying their best to satisfy a disgruntled customer. The pool was the best thing about the hotel as it has the best view of the beach of all the hotels in Beira Mar. But that's not saying much as your view is comprised of stray dogs and drunks defecating on the beach where the favela kids blissfully swim in the fecund waters without regard to hygiene and Hepatitis. So, you can bet that the only water that was touching me was from either the pool or the shower. Breakfast was underwhelming even by brazilian standards. However, one can make up for their less than appetizing breakfast offerings by going to the best seafood restaurants in the city in my book. Just walk across the street from the hotel and you will find Peixada do Meio, Alfredo Rei da Peixada, and Marquinhos del Cearense all standing side by side from each other.

Having being very impressed by a Golden Tulip in Berlin we thought to use this as basis for one day in Fortaleza. Poor choice. The structure is oldish and depressing. Rooms just ok but again oldish. Forget the restaurant, it remembered us of experiences in Socialist Yugoslavia in the 80s. Check in curiously cumbersome. No more.

I have the city of Fortaleza as one of my favorite domestic destinations for two reasons: the unique hospitality of the locals and the fruits of the sea delicacies always delicious. I did a quick hosting this hotel, visiting the city, this time to work. In the case of a higher qualification, I found disappointing. Check-in friendly, but still impractical in slow manual fill admission forms. Spacious apartments have worn offered by time and poorly maintained (dirty walls, visibly in need of painting); large bathroom with old towels, but clean as well as sanitized linens. When you open the curtain a glass door that divides the room with a balcony, is faced with a beautiful view of the city with its urban beach, BUT, to join the balcony, how much disappointment !! Comes the strong and unpleasant smell of a seafood market next to the hotel ... not enough just limiting this detail to a good stay at all meals (breakfast and dinner), had insistently flies flying over the table buffet and frequently landing on your plate ... needs to improve

Descobri agora que acabei de me hospedar que não servem mais café da manhã no hotel! Nem sei o que fazer pois estamos com crianças.
Não recebi nenhum tipo de cobrança, além da água que consumi do frigobar.
