Been to Fortaleza many times but this is first time at Hotel Americas. Stayed a week. Our room was spacious with king size, comfy bed, good bathroom (no hot water unfortunately) and very good airconditioning. Breakfast good when you could get a table, couple of days we went without because breakfast room too busy Front desk staff fantastic, cleaning staff always courteous, smiling. Room cleaned daily. Opposite street of great value seafood and pizza restaurants and easy walk to Monsignor Tabosa street for boutique shopping. Beach at end of street.

Rooms are large, clean and Confortable but outdated. The rooms are more modern than the hotel itself. Good breakfast included and friendly reception staff. There was a nice pool. It is a few blocks from the beach and promenade. It's not paradise but it's probably one of the best options in this price range.

View in the rear of the hotel is a lot used by the homeless as their bathroom. Human feces in one corner. Crack smoked in the other corner. Somewhat close to the beach, but the walk is not safe after dark. Entire area in decline.

We ha droit fond a hôtel for a night un fortaleza. We stayed there Less than 10 hours. The hôtel is clean but dont expert something extraordinary. The room are ok, quite cheap with no charm. But you ll be in safe area with place to eat around the corner.

I spent 3 days in this hotel.
For the price paid I think the location, the swimingpool, the staff service and the room size, facilities and clenliness are perfect. The breakfast is ok. There are lots of restaurants and shops around. It is just 2 minutes from the beach (although is not the most beautiful beach to swim)
