Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The location is perfect, less than 400 meters from Av. Beira Mar. There are restaurants, pharmacies and supermarkets nearby, which was extremely convenient for us. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to help with whatever is required. The room is comfortable and has a minibar in which there are various drinks such as water, soft drinks and beer, at an additional cost. Breakfast is very good and includes coffee, fruit juices, bread, sweet cakes, eggs and tapioca. Although it does not have a pool, the jacuzzi on the top floor is ideal for relaxing (it should be noted that you have to climb a flight of stairs to access it, which can be an inconvenience for people with reduced mobility) Definitely a place to return considering its excellent quality/price ratio.

I particularly liked the room. It is simple and comfortable. The internet works well when it's not completely full of guests. The hotel's breakfast is very good, I really liked it. The air cools well and the shower is gas heated. The hotel is ideal for those who want simplicity and practicality, so much so that I saw a lot of foreigners at the hotel at breakfast, and they didn't complain, which says it all. For me, who sees hotels as a place to eat and sleep, it was excellent. I recommend.

Stayed here for one night before a flight from Fortaleza. The hotel is close to shops, bars and restaurants. Easy and quick check in. The room was spacious, 2 single beds, bedside tables and lamps, TV, table and chair, fridge and A/C. Good WIFI. The bathroom was quite small, but clean and a good shower. There was also a huge balcony with a table and chairs. A very good buffet breakfast is served at the hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again.

Great value for money. Comfortable, clean room, fast internet, breakfast with good options. I needed the laundry service and was attended to promptly. Attentive staff. Close to the beach, restaurants and market. Well located and on a quiet street. Small and comfortable hotel, ideal for those just looking for space to rest.

Hotel very well located in Meirelles, 2 blocks from the beach. It's a simple but very comfortable hotel: everything works well. The staff are attentive and kind. It's silent. The bed is good and big. The breakfast is exquisite. It has air conditioning.

Before I get into detail, you need to know what you are booking here. This is a hotel for less than R$100 near the beach in Fortaleza. This is not a 4 or 5-star resort, but it is a very nice for a basic hotel.
The lobby area is open with nice sitting areas and several computers with internet access. We could not get our laptop or iPhone connected to the wifi, but they do have free wifi and we must have just had a problem that day because I do not see anyone else complaining about it.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic and clean. Air conditioner worked great and plenty of hot water for the shower (my 2 requirements). We did not eat breakfast there, but it looked good. There is a small underground parking garage (maybe 6-8 spaces) where you can park for free if you have a rental car.
We stayed here for 1 night on our way back to the airport and it met all of our needs. Not sure I would make an extended stay here, but I would definitely return in the future on my way in or out of Fortaleza.
The location is a short taxi or moderate walk to many great restaurants in the area. Like most of Fortaleza, I would not recommend walking alone after 10pm.

A great inexpensive option to stay in Fortaleza, near the beach, VERY friendly service, they helped out with a problem I had. Good breakfast selection and a simple, light airy room. Highly recommended!

We stayed one night at Casa Da Praia when attending the Spain v Nigeria game in the Confederations Cup. For the price paid we were very happy. Definitely value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than enough for my wife and I. Room was very comfortable. Couldn't comment on hot water as due to the heat (35 degrees in winter!) I only took cold showers. They were certainly very good! Located minutes from the beach and several restaurants of varying quality. Didn't venture out late at night but certainly felt safe walking around in the day. If you are not expecting 5 star quality you should be very happy at a very good hotel for the price.

I traveled to Fortaleza on august-2012 and stayed 5 days in this hotel. The hotel is simple, has a good location and a nice breakfast. It´s next to Iracema beach, Pirata Bar, Meireles bridge. If you don´t like to walk, you can find bus stop 2 blocks from the hotel to go to the beaches and downtown OR taxi drivers waiting for passengers in front of the hotel.

Great staff and great location. Good breakfast; safe in the room; free wi-fi. Very close to the beach, all activities, and restaurants but on a quiet street. Only stayed one night, in transit to another city. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Fortaleza.
