I had a lot of expectations for Pauli and I confess that he met almost all of them.
I spent 3 days in Fortaleza and decided to stay, with my fiancé, at the hotel. The structure is impeccable, it's as if you were in the forest in the middle of the city, I loved their decoration. The pool is very good and the hotel is much bigger than it looks. The breakfast is plentiful and has a great variety for all tastes.
About the room I stayed in, a luxury double suite, the air conditioning cools well, the shower is wonderful and there is even plenty of shampoo and conditioner in the shower.
But my fiancé and I found it strange about the size of the room (but nothing that bothers me too much), the fact that it has individual single blankets (it could have been a double one), and something that bothered us a little, which we even found strange due to the comments we saw about the room. hotel, it was about the reception of the employees with the guests in the environments, I believe that due to the aesthetics of the environment being very cozy, the employees would follow the same line, but we witnessed an episode during coffee that was a foreigner trying to ask something from the employee and she was super reluctantly to try to help, some passed by us and didn't say good morning (of course no one is obliged, it would just be a kindness)... there was also no introduction to the hotel itself, I believe that was due to the check in time- When we checked in, it was after 7pm, and they were not available to help us with our luggage to the room.
But the hotel is well located, has great decor, has a sugar loaf next to it... everything is very good
Other than that, I highly recommend it.

Very comfortable guesthouse with modern design and very beautiful, great gym and breakfast. Spacious room, but only TV with open channels and only access to YouTube (no Disney+ and Netflix app). High domestic consumer prices and no parking. You can use the Sugar Bread parking that is next to the hotel, but pay R$ 50.00 per day and you have to leave the car until 22:00, when it closes.

The hotel is so cozy, it doesn't look like a hotel, but rather like a charming and welcoming mansion.
The pool is a real delight and the greenery that surrounds it makes the entire environment very pleasant. Not to mention the floating tray with cut fruit as a courtesy for guests. What a treat!
The breakfast is quite filling and even has someone preparing omelette, tapioca and couscous on the spot.
The bedroom and bathroom are an ideal size.
The staff is very friendly and cordial.

Let's start with the negative points.
- We arrived at the hotel at 16 hours, the check-in time was 15 and the room was not ready, claimed that they had had many departures due to the New Year, OK we waited. When we were referred to the room, had made a reservation for room view double pool with 1 double bed, we arrived on the 6th floor and the room was triple, 1 double bed leaned on the wall and one of single and the view was to the roofs of the neighboring houses. I immediately went down and complained at the reception, the employee claimed that the room was well viewed pool was only look down rsrsr and that on the 3 beds he could order to remove the single. I complained, complained and said that no, the photos of the site did not correspond to that room and wanted to change, after a lot of enrollment finally changed us from room to one on the second floor with pool view and 1 bed, exactly as I paid in the reservation. Be aware of this, I believe that up to the third floor at most you have a view of the pool, above that you will see roofs and windows of the houses next door.
- The hotel is in a very busy Avenue without any option to park in the street and the hotel has no parking, they offer the option to close package of days in the supermarket that is next door but there is one however, the supermarket closes at 21 Hours, if you go out for dinner you have to return before 21, which for me was not very feasible, otherwise the car stays on the street. So if you are going to be driving reassemble your Hosting.
Positive points.
- Very nice hotel, elegant, well decorated, the garden and the pool are beautiful, you feel right out of town. Room size OK, cosy bed, efficient shower, good bedding and bathroom.
- Tasty breakfast, with lots of variety, all fresh and quality, option to order omelettes and tapiocas made on time.
- The pool is small but cosy, there are a few chairs to relax, the sun due to the lateral constructions beats for quite little time in the area of the pool but you can enjoy. Good options of snacks and drinks. At midday and late in the afternoon they place a floating tray in the pool with fresh fruits.
Among the positive and negative points, I would not stay in this hotel again.

After several compliments I saw about the Pauli Boutique Hotel I decided to stay. But the beginning was quite disappointing. I booked a Double Room Luxury, where in the description it said that it had views of Pool/Garden... including a higher price than the standard room. I thought it was possible by the very idea of Boutique Hotel being smaller, etc.
Well, I was directed to the room... when I arrived and opened the window the view was completely different, had views to houses only (I put in attachment)... besides the bathroom had no box (it was the room with accessibility)
At the same time I called the reception informing that I thought there was something wrong with my Reservation... and then I received quite strange answers..
Over the view of the room " Mrs, the view is yes to the pool, if you look right from the side you will see. And this is the view yes, it is not the view of the city." About the bathroom without box "The hotel has no obligation to warn that the bathroom has no box, as it is not described as room item on the site". When I replied that in the photos of the site the photo of the bathroom had box the same said that it was a mere illustration and that should not be taken into account and ended by saying that it was the last available room that if we did not want we would have to look for another hotel.
I said we were going to cancel the Reservation and look for another hotel... then he returned to me and said that he would exchange the room for another that the guest had not yet arrived.
Being in a room without a box would not be a problem if you had been warned before, at the time of check in could be talked about... but to say that I can't wait for a box in the bathroom is too much.
About the view of the room... I really found misleading advertising on the site and I felt mistaken. In the other hotels they specify city/sea side view.. etc. The hotel has 6 floors... the only ones that really has pool view are the ground floor and 1 floor aptos.

The hotel itself is very beautiful and nice. The delicious breakfast.
Of more negative points would cite the location, however close to the sea is not very safe walking.... and the quality of the pillows and sheets in the bed.. the blankets are single (even using the double bed) and very fine.. which makes you spend the night off / switching on the air conditioning.

Everything about the Hotel is incredible: the reception of the staff, the decoration of the rooms, the impeccable garden with very well thought out landscaping. The breakfast is very well served, there are several options and restocks are made all the time. In the hotel there is also a Jacuzzi with very warm water, delicious!

We stayed at this hotel on a Friday night, and it was a real disappointment. As soon as we arrived at 7pm, the reception was icy. The receptionist, , did not speak a word of English, which complicated each exchange. When we asked for a room that did not face the street, he simply replied “OK”. To our surprise, the assigned room was right on the street, exposed to a constant noise of trucks that seemed to cross our bed.

After re-downloading all our luggage to report the error, he suddenly informed us that the hotel was fully booked. Rarely have we met someone so unsympathetic and unprofessional.

On top of that, the room itself was disastrous: a windowless box, an unbearable smell of mould and no soundproofing. We can hardly understand the good reviews of this property, as our experience was so catastrophic. We will not return and do not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a minimum of comfort and respect.

Good cost benefit in Fortaleza
The hotel has an excellent cost benefit. It is well located, the facilities are good and the breakfast is very good. However, some problems need to be solved, such as the entrance that is very bad... has no rebound for entry and exit passengers and does not even have a ramp for wheelchairs and luggage.
Another problem that bothered my stay were the dogs that were staying in the next room, unfortunately the owners go out and leave the dogs alone in the room and this bothered the guests very much...I believe that the hotel needs to have a more firm position regarding the animals and their owners.

The stay was great. The hotel is rustic and very cozy in the outdoor pool and breakfast area. It was my husband's birthday and the hotel made a very delicious complimentary cupcake. In fact, everything at breakfast is delicious, especially the homemade coconut bread. I recommend!

The hotel staff is super attentive and polite.
The rooms were clean.
Clean bathroom and good shower.
The internet works well in the rooms
The location is good and after 3 minutes of walking you are on the seafront. There is a market next to the hotel.
Good breakfast with variety.

The only issue to note is parking. Cars are next door in a public parking lot. We didn't have any problems with that and we left early in the morning.
