The best part of the entire hotel is the breakfast tapioca. Made every day with great care and always very tasty. The pool is good, large space, but it appeared to be dirty with the water a bit cloudy. The room in general has a good space, good sheets and pillows too, as does the shower, but the air conditioning doesn't cool anything, it looks like a thermostat from 1500 BC, it's so old and no matter how long it stays on. The hotel is very good, I would definitely return. My wife and I stayed between the 12th and 24th of 2024. Upon arrival we found a problem in the bathroom and immediately offered us room much higher than we had booked. Only I did not give 5 stars for having some minor flaws as smokers in the pool, and has warning to be banned by federal law, guests carrying drinks out when it is also banned, although it is cheaper. But if you follow the hotel rules, you feel frustrated like a fool, paying a higher value. I complained but there were no arrangements. Apart from the Hotel being very good, I want to highlight the super top service of all staff who are always willing to help you and always with a smile. 1. Room looked VERY different and very low quality than the advertised photos (see attached photos) I would not have chosen this hotel. 2. Water in shower drained really really slowly. 2 inches of water after 4 minutes of shower. 3. Water in hand washing sink was very weak. 4. Bed was two twin mattresses put together.

I have been staying at this hotel for 20 years, and every year, the condition gets worse. The rooms are very old and tired and in need of renovation, as they haven't done anything to the rooms in the 20 years I have been going there. The swimming pool is not working and is closed, I was told that is has been out of commission for 7 months now, and they still haven't fixed it. But they will charge you extra for a room with a pool view that is closed, what a joke! They have now closed the restaurant, and they are now serving the breakfast in a back room on the floor above.The breakfast at the hotel was once good, but now they have cheaped out on everything with not that many choices, they even water down the scrambled eggs to a point that it is just a sloppy soup that you almost need a spoon to eat it with! There is always at least 1 of the elevators out of order, I was coming from the 2nd floor to the lobby when I got stuck in the elevator. The elevator was stuck about 3 feet from the lobby floor and had no ventilation, I tried to push the alarm button, but it didn't work, and there was no telephone in the elevator either to alert someone that I was stuck in the elevator, which was a little scary! I managed to pry the inside door open and noticed the cables that carry the elevator from floor to floor were in very poor condition and frayed, just an accident waiting to happen. I found a latch on the outer door, and I was able to pry that door open just enough to squeeze through and jump down the 3 feet to the lobby floor. I told the guy at the front desk what had just happened, and he was on the telephone right away, calling someone. I went to the store, which is 3 doors down, and I was back within 10 minutes. He informed me that the elevator was now fixed, and they had a company come in and fix it, I said in 10 minutes? He just shrugged his shoulders! The elevators have not been inspected and in need of maintenance, and they are very dangerous. I will never return to this hotel again, and I would recommend that if you are planning to visit Fortaleza, you look for a different hotel. There are many nice hotels available in the area, but this is not a nice hotel by any means!

Entretanto, informamos que o Hotel Oásis Atlântico Imperial & Fortaleza está há 18 anos em Fortaleza e durante esse período passamos por diversas reformas para melhor atendê-los, pois a satisfação e o conforto dos clientes são a nossa prioridade. Informamos que a piscina está passando por uma revitalização e precisa permanecer interditada durante a execução do serviço, porém, a reforma começou apenas no dia 20/03/202. Antes desta data a piscina estava aberta e todos os nossos clientes estavam usufruindo normalmente. Ressaltamos também que sua reserva foi solicitada em apto na categoria Superior, (com vista interna), no entanto, como forma de amenizar a falta da piscina no hotel, foi concedido up grade para um apto Superior Frente Mar sem nenhuma cobrança adicional, assim também como disponibilizamos as piscinas de outros hotéis próximos ao Oásis para utilização de todos os nossos hóspedes. Nosso café da manhã possui uma grande variedade de itens, inclusive com alguns sendo preparados na hora como ovos e tapiocas. Em relação ao local onde é servido o café da manhã, esclarecemos que há uma reforma em um dos restaurantes do hotel, o Restaurante Atlântico que fica no térreo, mas temos mais um restaurante, o Fortaleza, que fica localizado no mezanino e que funciona perfeitamente. Pedimos desculpas pelo incidente ocorrido no elevador. Informamos que foi um caso pontual e que já tomamos as devidas medidas corretivas. The location is the difference for sure!!!! The staff are polite and helpful, we all treated well!!! The maids are exceptional, every day they left the room clean and organized, congratulations for the service. The room is suitable, I found the floor a little flattened but nothing compromising, TV did not work well room 459. The cafe of manha is flawless many varieties and with replacement all the time, all very well done and with plenty of space. The only negative point was overcrowding. They were receiving an event with many teens, so full space, noisy coffee and crowded pool. But still we were treated well by all employees.
I recommend and of all who stayed there (I have already stayed in Beira Mar, Ponta Mar, Luzeiros, Seara) this is what most surprised me... I will return next year and stay in this again!!!

We stayed 5 days in this hotel. The fact of being wonderful is a set of things. In the center of Beira sea, in front of the fair, full of kiosks to enjoy the view of the seafront that is a spectacle after the reform. On the left side of the hotel there is the Mac Donald's but the best is not that, there is a hotel called Tropical behind the Mac donalds that has self service both at lunch and dinner. "Ask for a room NOT facing the inner courtyard / garbage area. Get a card form the hotel to use for getting back to the hotel with taxi drivers , almost none spoke english or spanish. Hotel changes USD and EURO at a slightly lower rate than the back but its safe and convenient. Buy your large waters at the local convenience stores they large 1.5 liter are $2 I think the small waters at the hotel are $2"
