The best thing about this hotel is the location which is directly opposite Porto do Barra beach and has about half a dozen bar/restaurants on your doorstep. The beach gets very busy at the weekends, especially Sundays i.e. but if you want to mix with the locals and want an authentic Bahian experience this is a good place to start,... More

Booked a triple room and got room with space for four. Had enough space for the bags, although when we wanted to extend one more night the room was already booked and we've been moved to a very small room. Rooms are clean, good shower. Breakfast was decent. Most of staff doesn't speak English. Located right next to the beach... More

This trip was my first visit to Brazil, stayed here from a recommendation of tour operator Fernando Bingre. I'm so glad we did! Prime close location to the beach, shops and eateries. Rooms very clean, morning buffet tasty. Spectacular ocean view, historic sites within walking distance. Front desk staff, especially Enrique goes the extra mile. Command of English language excellent,... More

I choose this hotel for the free wifi and free breakfast both were ok, not exceptional but ok. The hotel is located across from the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful not may english speakers but they can make you understand.

Great location, just cross the road then there is Praia do Porto da Barra. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Very nice seafront. The staff from the hotel were very friendly and helpful.

Location, comfort, cleanliness, breakfast, and workers are all top notch in this hotel. It is right in front of the beach along side restaurants. It was serene and safe at night in this area. Very comfortable beds and very clean (we didn't expect this). Also the breakfast selection was a surprise - lots of varieties. However, out Hit Hotel experience... More

Good location, nice staff, good breakfast. Good value for your money. They have a parking, but only for a few cars, so you better make a reservation R$30/day. Wifi works fine. Rooms are cleaned daily, and the change towels daily if you wish.

The beach is right outside your door -- so no excuse to not swim. Good breakfast buffet, not too loud and staff are friendly, even if only a few spoke basic English. The single rooms are some of the smallest I have ever seen, so avoid those at all costs, and the view is into the courtyard which is only... More

Stayed for five nights during the latter part of the World Cup after opting to move to Barra to be closer to other friends nearby. The location itself is good - beachfront, however hampered currently by roadworks outside the front which appear to start quite earlier, but no doubt will finish in time. The rooms themselves are basic, but clean... More

We stayed recently during the first few nights of the World Cup. We stayed here as we needed to fill a few nights in Salvador and didn't want to pay too much of a premium. Therefore four of us stayed in one room to minimise cost. Positives: the hotel is reasonably clean (for a hotel of this standard) and the... More
