Serene Scandinavian-style refuge; generous, hospitable kind hosts! Have already booked my return visits (2!) Gorgeous gardens! Inviting yoga studios! Tempting massage services! All this, on a squeaky clean and green organic family farm.

For a birthday surprise the retreat was a delightful experience. The clean welcoming energy upon arrival was our first encounter. Nearby to events of interest in local towns/cities made for the B&B an oasis one can call home. Only thing to change is for more time to spend and explore the local grounds, a nature walk is recommended.

Our stay here was short (only one night—and we needed to leave right after breakfast), but Artha was a delightful place to stay. Bob and Marguerite made us feel very welcome. Beyond crafting such a restful retreat, they happily took care of our dietary restrictions and made us a wonderful home-cooked breakfast.

I will never be able to put into words the true magic of Artha - the faint smell of flowers, home cooking, and just a touch of wood smoke greet you at the door. The old farm house has charms and stories that practically tell themselves as they envelop you for your first good exhale in months. I had brought...

The peaceful surroundings grace the comfortable, unimposing and folksy atmosphere Bob and Marguerite have created. This couple lovingly carved a sanctuary from the "busy-ness" of life. The common living area was open, light, and offered great views of the nature awaiting outdoors. Their kitchen area is also open, homey, and more than adequately provides for cooking in. My bed was...

We were in Stevens Point for two weeks for the Home Brew Wind Workshop the Small Wind Conference, and the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair, and we chose to stay at Artha. What a treat! We loved driving through the Wisconsin countryside in full summer, seeing Sandhill Cranes as we approached the Center. We were inspired by the beautiful wildflowers that...

I have stayed at Artha many times because my son lives in the area and the B & B is always like home away from home. My most recent visit was a sleep over with my 3 year old grandson. He liked it so much, we stayed two nights. Marquerite made breakfast a real treat with dinosaur pancakes, fruit and...

We stayed two nights on a whim and will be going back again (and again, hopefully). The house is charming, the rooms nice, and the owners very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the greater area. We loved visiting Stevens Point, and had a wonderful time exploring the town, shops, restaurants and breweries/distilleries. Everyone in the area was very welcoming and...

We reserved a few days here for our 3rd anniversary. Little did we know that mon and tues had no other reservations. Which meant, we had the entire house to ourselves! A surprise but a welcome one. Not only that, we were incredibly comfortable and pampered. We learned a few things about sustainable living, took in a yoga class together,...

Margeret and Bob the owners of this B and B are warm, inviting, calming people that are a delight to be around. The care and attention makes one feel like they are being pampered in there own home. The first snow fall came while I was staying and the wood stove in the living area made it seem like christmas....

“Loved the Solar room. But the other rooms we peeked in on. They had seemed cramped in pix online. But they were much better in person. Cozy. We got a deal for booking 2nights during the week. Awesome price and much privacy!”
