Not a luxury hotel, but reasonably priced for what it was. Location is perfect in a city that does have some unsafe areas. Note that the front desk staff generally don't speak any English or Spanish. We had one of the more expensive rooms, I think it has more space and hot water, compared to the more economical rooms for...

We organized all of our travel through a guide, who booked us at this place for a night before we ventured into the Amazon. The location was ideal- walking distance for everything you want to see in Manaus, calm and near to a plaza with live music and some ice cream parlors. It is clean, serves its purpose, and the...

If you are looking for a bed and some info on Amazon tours, this is the best option. It is located close to the attractions in Manaus and it is in the same building as most Amazon tour companies. This hotel provides airport transfer and they are really helpfull! If you want luxury, this is not your place!

We stayed here for five nights during a trip to Manaus for the World Cup. After searching one dumpy hostel after another that didn't have any vacancies, we were shocked to get a clean, well-appointed room, right off the main plaza, where all the action was. Air conditioner worked, as well as TV and fridge. Room was completely cleaned daily...

dirty room with ants and roaches. noisey a/c and a random light that flashes every 10 minutes at night. great location but poor quality. avoid the tour companies lurking in the foyer near sebastion square and restaurants are the good things about this place

Stayed for one night before an Amazon tour, was only there for 8 hours but it was long enough. We had a 'superior room' which has hot water, a fridge and is apparently a nicer room - I dread to think what a basic room would have been like. Gaps in the door were taped up, air con was barely...

My wife and I visited the Amazon and stayed here on the first night of our arrival. The hotel is in a pretty good location but don't expect much in terms of conveniences. The room was maybe 9 feet by 9 feet and just big enough for a bed. The shower only had cold water and no soap or shampoo...

I thought this place was alright. I thought it was safe and clean. I am not really sure what the negative reviews are all about. I would stay here again. It is a good value and a GREAT location. It is really close to the Teatro Amazonas (the opera house).

We spent a night at this hotel after returning from an Amazon tour at a place where there was no water. Not just hot water, any water. So we loved it here. We took showers, turned on TV and spread out on real beds. The hotel is by no means luxurious and there are no English speaking clerks. But the...

This hotel is one of the worst ever. Considering what you get for the $R 90,- we paid it is not cheap either. Highly recommend people to look elsewhere for better accomodation. When we arrived we got a room without window. There was a group of drunk men drinking beer and shouting songs in front of our door. Luckily it...
