Hotel beni is basic but pleasant. Nice courtyard area and nice spacious rooms. Our bathroom was full of dead flies which could have done with a clean. There is also no wifi or breakfast. A twin room with private bathroom cost us 50 Bol each in mid April. Good for a stop over but the hostel de los tucanes a...

I originally asked for a room with a view, thinking it would be nice since the hostel was near the river. They showed me a few private rooms, none of which had a view. One STILL had guests' belongings in it!! So I decided to go with a room with a shared bathroom since I figured there was no reason...

very clean big, quiet rooms, right in the town center, cheap; no bugs; electric showers; we stayed there 3 nights, everything was fine. We didn't use kitchen facilities, so I cannot rate them. We used laundry service and it was good.

We stayed at beni two nights. They asked for payment upfront each day, then when we went to leave they said we had not paid. They had our bags in the locked rooms and they refused to give us our bags till we paid again, so we were charged twice. Dishonest, rude, liars, bathrooms smelt horrible, really loud. DO NOT...

We stayed 2 times in Beni, nice and clean. One night was a bit noisy, but that was more because of the streetnoise. Other hostels can have the same problem. We enjoyed the stays here, enough room and cheap prices for a private

We stayed here at the start of april 2013 for 2 nights and will be returning there again soon. It is very cheap you can get a twin room for 60 bolivianos total so 30 each is very good. The rooms are clean and came with cable tv and a ceiling fan and a mosquito net window. We chose a...

We spent 20 days in Hostal Beni which were one of our best In Bolivia. The hostel is combination between hostel and hotel, with air con rooms or fan depends on your preferences. Our room was double with private bathroom and right on the Rurrenabaque river with stunning view. Since we stayed for 20 days we took discounted price with...

The newer ensuite rooms on teh 2nd and 3rd floor at the back are much quieter and cleaner feeling. I stayed in these for my first night, then moved to a cheaper shared bathroom room. There are no windows only fly screens so you can hear everything. I had an annoying drunken chilean who was trying to get into his...

The rooms were spacious & the shower was warm (not hot though). Staff decided to clean the balcony outside our door at the crack of dawn, thus making a lot of noise & waking us up! Staff weren't particularly friendly. It's cheap for the room you get.

We stayed here for a couple of nights before going on a pampas tour and it was adequate for a short time but generally not great. Our double room with private bath cost 70Bs and was okay, except for the awful sagging bed which was like sleeping in a sandpit. A couple of tiles on the floor were cracked which...

“Rooms in the back seem to be nicer, be aware that they do not seem to know which rooms still have guests in them. In other words, they can barge in any time. Bolt your room when you're there, and take all valuables with you when you're not. Or just not stay here to avoid the hassle :)”
