The rooms are spacious and bed are comfy. A writing in the shower says 'do not shower more than 6 minutes' The owners are ok, not much fun. Great view from the breakfast room and terrace is the most exciting thing about the place.

We booked a double, the room was dirty and shower was cold. The owners where very arrogant. We felt like we were totally unwanted. The owner itself pass all the day playing games at the computer. The second day they refused to serve breakfast to us saying we were late (9.00 am) but nobody told us breakfast hours before and...

We arrived on Isla del Sol to stay for 2 nights and were quickly recruited by a kid on the street who took us to a deserted Inti Kala Hostal. The owner was rude and the service poor. We enjoyed a nice view from our room but it was freezing cold and moist in there (although the island enjoys a...

We didn't stay in the Hostal but we took the boat to isla del sol from this company. The ride was a desaster. 1. Starting 25 minutes late in the morning. 2. Boat too full, not everyone got a seat, some people had to sit on the floor in the back. 3. driver was texting or playing with his phone...

We spent there one night (may). We stayed in room number 25. Very nice view! The room was spacious but very basic. Electric shower - no hot water... At night very cold - we had asked for an electric heater. Breakfast was basic but ok - scrambled eggs, jam, margarine, bread, coffee, tea and banana juice. We had paid 160...

First, this hostel is on the very top of the island. Around 45 minutes trekking up with the lugagge on our backs, to get there. If you go, go light!!! The good thing is that the view from there is absolutely gorgeous and worth it! Our room was number 30 and had a terrace and a great view! The room...

The HOSTAL INTI KALA run their own tourist agency in Copacabana and it seemed the best way to get straight up info on rates and bookings at their Hostal on the beautiful Isle Del Sol. We were offered accommodation for our family in writing for 2 nights for 600 Bolivian Dollars that included private bathrooms and breakfas. We trusted the...

We visited for an overnight stay in late June 2015. The place is charming and situated close to the highest point on Isla del Sol... A 15 min walk for a spectacular sunrise. But - the rooms are very basic and the shower was cold. Food was perfectly nice - home cooked and staff friendly but dining room was also...

Noisy beds and there was no hot shower (it was cold as hell. Try taking a cold shower in the winter!) The door was really noisy and not practical (you need to use a locker instead of a key) Breakfast was okay and the view was just amazing (just like every place in isla del sol). The restaurant next to...

We stayed at this hotel during our 2 day tour of Isla del Sol! The service was great and staff were very friendly! The rooms were clean (although cold.. To be expected in that area) and had sufficient blankets to ensure a warm and good night sleep! The morning breakfast is also very good! Recommended

“Make sure you get a lake view room. And if you don't like the sound of donkeys at sunrise wear earplugs.”

“If you must stay here, insist on one of the upper level rooms with a door leading out to the terrace. Check whether the doors can be closed/locked, and if not whether you can find some other way to secure the door.”
  • Lousy photo of the bathroom, as this is as far as the bathroom door opens.
  • The door to the terrace, held shut with a tree stump as it doesn't close or lock.
  • The delightful entrance to the room.
  • Creaky bed held together with nails and scrap wood.
  • Terrace has a nice view west. Waaay to cold to sit outside after sunset though.
