Do not expect to communicate with people around you. Nobody can speak English. However, you can find this is a quality establishment for stay. The public bath was an interesting experience. Try to walk with bathing suites and slippers. Everybody is doing the same thing....More

Having visited it on a daily basis, we tried staying there. The food is impeccable, as is the service. The onsen in your room, on the balcony is superb. I highly recommend staying here. The larger out door (rotenburo) is among my favourite's in Japan....More

You can catch a bus from Hirosaki station. It's in the Mt. Iwaki. They have spacious natural hot spring indoor and outdoor. You can stay but you can just visit and stay half day in there to take bath and lunch. They are always clean!...More

I tend not to like ryokans that are relatively big, but this one was a great exception! Really really nice and big room, great onsen including rotenburo (outdoor Japanese bath), and really good food. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go...More

Thank you for your inquiry. Iwakisou has a room with open-air hot Spring. The price per night is 20150~25150yen per  person. A stay of 1 week is also possible. we will prepare Japanese food for dinner.
