As usual for a Japan business hotel the room is smallish and the bathroom a small self contained unit. Everything is clean and tidy and works ok except at times he free wifi is slow and I prefer to set my own aircon temperature not just the flow rate. Room was a bit hot and humid for me. Staff are pleasant enough and location a few minutes walk from the rail station.

The reception staff was great, but other than that I was not impressed. At other areas in Japan, you would find much more comfy and clean business hotels at 2/3 of the price. The bath and sink were clean at the first sight, but had accumulated dust at corners of the toilet paper holder and tiles... Also, you cannot set the room temperature on the air conditioner -- it said the temp is controled by the building and you can only set the amount of the flow. Breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was not my taste, either -- the table felt sticky and wasn't clean. Bright side was, they have free wifi, which was easy to set.

I booked this hotel when I visited Ise Jingu (Ise Grand Shrine) this April. Hotel is situated within a few minutes walk from the station and walking distance from one of the main shrine (Gekū - the outer shrine). To visit Naikū (Inner shrine), you can take the public bus service in front of the station. Since both shrines are fairly big and there are other shrines around the city, it is better to stay there at least two days. The hotel has a Japanese restaurant featuring Matsuzaka beef. Room is practical and functional.

This hotel is only about 3-5 minutes walk from ISESHI station. The area is very quite but there are quite a few restaurants and supermarket to serve you. Room is clean. bed is small but it is typical for Japanese hotel. I vote "yes" for this hotel.

Location is great to visit Ise Jingu!!! The rooms are small but very clean!! If you only need a room to sleep it's great but if you want to relax in your room, it's not the place. The 1 floor restaurant is very good! What you order it could be expensive or not. Next door there's a convenience store!!! If you have a car there's a spa (Japanese hot bath) nearby too!! The price is good, other places are much more!! I feel it was a good deal in Dec.

iseshi is the place to stay if you want to visit ise jingu (grand shrine). this is a small hotel with little facilities, but good enough if you are going out most of the time. A supermarket next door is always a bonus as we can get yogurt, fruits etc for supper.

An expensive hotel for the area. Somewhat old but clean. Walkable distance from the trains and attractions. Staff was helpful. But for the price and other accommodations available, you can get much better if you plan ahead.

The Ise City Hotel Annex is, as the name implies, not to be confused with its sister hotel 150 m down the road. I’m sure that Ise has its charms, but in a quick overnight stay I had only a couple of observations: the hotels are few and scattered; the restaurants are few and scattered; and planning in advance (or knowing a local) is probably the key to getting the best out of the area. The hotel was fine, a typical business hotel experience, although much pricier than I expected for the area / population density and so on. All of the hotels of any rating followed suit. I was happy to get this hotel, even booking two months in advance – when I later checked to see if a better rate was available, it and most of the rated hotels were booked full. I checked other dates just in case there was some local event pushing up the pricing but it seems that this situation is common in Ise. The staff were helpful, everything correct. So I recommend it, but book and plan well ahead!

Even though the room charge was very low, it was spacious enough to rest and sleep and of corse clea so there was no need for worry. Also the hotel has great acccess to the station and also near to the famous Shinto shrine, Ise-jingu, so we are totally satisfied with the stay at this hotel.

Spent a night visiting Ise on a slow tour of the area. It was not difficult to find but a little farther than I would have liked from Ise Station. It was a little closer to Ujiyamada Station and the bus information at the front desk was for Ujiyamada Station. This was better as the bus was easy to get to. The rooms were standard but being in Ise they were a little bigger than rooms in the big cities. Unfortunately it was surrounded by homes and my room's window was just above a family house and facing the Kintetsu Line. It can be noisy if you open the window but it wasn't when the window was closed. My only complaint was that the room felt very dry, but they did have a humidifier available. The front desk was pretty accommodating and helpful. There wasn't a lot of restaurants in the area that open late and aside from non-Japanese food and a standard chain izakaya, there wasn't much to look for. Not the hotel's fault though. There was a Family Mart convenience store nearby and a supermarket next door too. A large drug store is just past the convenience store too. I booked via a Japanese online booking service, Jalan. I booked two rooms, a single for me and a double for my parents. The information on the website stated that one room had breakfast and another room didn't. In the written information for the room, it was reversed. I was confused but they said the breakfast was included for both rooms. I chose the American style breakfast and it wasn't bad.
