This is a lovely little town, and this outstanding hotel is right in the best part of it. Call them to make reservations. This time the website said full, but they had several options available. We paid a little more for the San Juan view king mini suite (recommended ) with a nice little kitchenette. We could see the sunset...

Beautiful historic hotel located near the Washington Ferries to go to San Juan Island. Great coffee! Very friendly and accommodating staff. The cupola offers beautiful views of Mount Baker. Convenient in town location.

When visiting our daughter in the Seattle area, we decided to go to the San Juan islands. Not knowing how popular they are in the summer, we assume we could get a room a few days out. Wrong! Nothing for 1 night was available anywhere and we had no idea that sometimes you need to make reservations for the ferry....

I made this reservation from the Majestic website, looking for a room to accommodate 3. A queen studio popped up with accommodations for up to 4 guests. Having worked at a resort hotel, I was familiar with corner rooms accommodating more than the standard 2 guests for a queen and the charge for the room reflected 3 people, so I...

This historic place is dead center in the quaint, restored part of Anacortes. It looks absolutely new, and has two sections - the very historic old part and a new annex. Staff is absolutely great - friendly, chatty, and knowledgeable. We stayed in the old part in a room made over with modern amenities but retaining the old-style looks. Only...

The Majestic hotel itself is excellent. Big rooms and comfortable beds. In fact this is the first hotel I've ever been at where the lower sheet was fitted to the mattress. And the Gere-a-Deli restaurant across the street is quite good. But when the weather is windy and rainy, there's absolutely nothing to do in Anacortes and surroundings.

I stayed at the Majestic 4 nights / had a great time. The coffee press in the room was excellent, and hen I asked for extra cream they gave me a small teapot w some to put in the room's fridge. I stayed in the annex/ new section, so didn't see the original rooms, but my room was excellent -...

We only stopped for a night. It happened to be our anniversary and they comped us an upgrade, so we were on the 5th floor with a rooftop balcony. The room was very clean and recently updated(?), the king size bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was huge and nicely appointed. We didn't use the Jacuzzi so I can't comment...

Stayed at Majestic Inn and there was a mix up in the room rate I was charged versus what I was quoted. Hotel manager called me and apologized and gave me the refund. Also took time to chat about my experience in Anacortes. Room was quite nice and in perfect spot to walk to stores and restaurants in downtown area....

First of all, if you come during rainy weather, prepare to get wet if you park your car in the uncovered lot. But, hey this could just be a part of the overall Wonderful Western Washington travel experience, right? That aside, what really annoyed my partner and I upon our arrival at 6:30 PM was that there was no one...
