Great accommodations after driving 7 hours. Clean and quite. Close to activities and sights to explore Puget sound and the islands. Centrally located. Close to a casino, which had a good restaurant...

My husband and I decided to go to the Swinomish Casino just outside of Anacortes and we wanted to spend the night. The casino hotel was full so I found the Fidalgo Country Inn and the location was great it is the closest you can get to the casino. We had an upstairs 2 queen room and you can tell...

We enjoyed our one-night stay here. The room was large, very clean and nicely appointed. There was plenty of closet and drawer space. The continental breakfast was pretty good. They had the standard cold-fare, as well as hot foods such as waffles. Given that they appear to be an independent hotel, it isn't surprising that they didn't have some breakfast...

We had made a reservation for a downstairs king room, we got there and they tried to give us an upstairs room. My husband can not do stairs so they had to switch rooms. The room we got was ok but had a lot of maintenance issues. The freezer part of the refrigerator was so full of ice the door...

So this place is one of the least expensive places on island however it is clean and does have air conditioning - a rarity of lesser expensive hotels in this region. While its not in the heart of the action, its only about 10 minutes away from downtown Anacortes so the location is satisfactory. Overall, I would stay here again...

Many hotels will not allow you to have 5 people in a room. Here we were able to stay in a family suite. We had two beds plus a sofa sleeper. There was also a refrigerator and a microwave. The room was spacious. There was a sink and mirror next to the bathroom as well as sink and mirror in...

We stayed in the family suite for a night while on vacation. Had to carry our bags up to the second floor but we knew this when we booked. Family suite was nice and big for a family. Breakfast was OK though the room is small. This hotel is dated but was OK for a 1 night stay, we would...

One of the worse places I have ever spent. 1. Was put in a smoking room. (requested a non smooking) 2. Moved to another smoking room. boiling by now 3. When made a reservation it was for a room on the 1st floor and non smooking. 4. The young man at the desk shrugged it off and said Oh Well...

Stayed here for the weekend over Father's Day. The room was clean and had a nice view. I can't say anything for the continental breakfast because I went somewhere else for that. I'd probably stay there again if I was in the area. I even forgot my wallet and left it in my room and they mailed it to me....

My wife and I have stayed at the Fidalgo Country Inn on every trip to the San Juan Islands for the past dozen years or so (6-8 trips). The Fidalgo Country Inn has always been our stopping point, after a day of driving from home we spend the night at this hotel, next morning take ferry to the San Juan...
