Breakfast both days was great and the fondue dinner was delicious. Jen is a great host and has done a great job fixing the place up for a historical place to stay. Stayed in the white room, beautiful. The view of the mountains is beautiful, tons of wineries to visit, and the Crabtree falls area was a great hike. All...

My wife and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at Fairview. The trip exceeded our expectations, as we explored the countryside, hiked partway up Crabtree Falls and sampled the local restaurants, wineries and breweries. Fairview is a remarkable historic house, and we couldn't have asked for a more gracious hostess than Jennifer.

The view from the porch is amazing. The breakfast was to die for. It was one of the best B&B breakfast I have ever had. It is definitely a small B&B experience. I would recommend this B&B for couples who like the outdoors and like to do their own thing.

My husband booked this B&B for our annual escape from our busy life. This property was ideal because of the rural location, views of the blue ridge, and they serve great food. Once we arrived Jennifer greeted us at the door and was very welcoming. Jennifer and her staff took very good care of us during our stay. We spent 2...

We spent 2 nights and had the farm-to-table dinner with a bottle of wine. There was a spectacular view, comfortable furnishings and a friendly, helpful owner. The location was perfect for visiting wineries south of Charlottesville. The food was good and the service was very relaxed. It was the perfect get-away in rural Virginia.

The good things were the wifi and the complimentary bottle of wine. We wanted to book this B&B because the reviews we read but the reality was so different...It was very difficult to make the reservation from the web page. We choose the green room following the management and booked it from Sunday to Tuesday. The price was 165+10% tax...

This place is very expensive in relation to the service provided. The rooms are not as nice as some people have described them, I guess the exception is the "lavender room". The place needs cleaning and improvements, we could not sit on the rocking chairs or benches because they were dirty. We stayed in the green room which needed some...

We sincerely regret that this retired couple who traveled to Fairview mid-week, did not enjoy their visit, posting 2 consecutive negative reviews on Sept 17th. Sadly, this review is an unexpected surprise ... and not anticipated by FV's team. In our usual spirit of Blue Ridge hospitality, we spent considerable time with this party, customizing their itinerary and offering suggestions...

We (me and Girlfriend) needed a timeout and a relaxing weekend from our busy schedule that is not a flying to location and not a driving over 4 hrs location from our place of residence. Looked at multiple locations in southern part of VA, DE, PA, Charlottesville, and even WVA that catch my interest. Fairview was sent to my email...
