Very well received upon checking in. The campground is in need of a few up-dates and up-grades. Not like the other campgrounds, missing a lot of something. There seem to be guite a few long time renters. First time using but will come back again....More

My wife and I attended the Bluegrass Festival this past weekend. It was the first time we had ever taken our two boys (4 and 5) camping. They had a blast! The playground was a hit, as were the ducks and fishing in the lake....More

Had a ball at Amelia Family Campground and the bi-annual bluegrass festival. It's the way bluegrass should be enjoyed. Lawn chair and good friends and great ol' down home music. Great time! Fern and Brenda and the whole family will take good care of ya.

We stopped over for a few days during a trip to DC. This was a nice stop over. The owners are very kind and helpful. I asked for a fire ring, and the quickly accommodated. We set up in a more secluded tenting area and...More

Very nice and peacful campground, no loud music or loud noises going on! restrooms and showers were always very clean compared to some state parks i have stayed at. will go back. playground, fishing, laundry, Stores nearby
