This lodge in Utah's Uintah Basin provides a great setting, diverse fishing opportunities, remarkable dining, and very helpful guides. The lodge has a selection of private waters and also sends clients out to public waters.

Went for a short getaway with another couple, one who had never flyfished in her life. The lodge is situated in a small high desert canyon, surrounded by sage and stocked ponds. The lodge itself is spacious, well-appointed with a large porch, gameroom, laundry, and pro-shop. The rooms are quaint but roomy and comfortable. You can't beat watching the Milky...

this place was a 10. Property, food and staff were exceptional. I highly recommend John, Brian and Grant as guides. We caught a ton of fish. We brought clients of various fly fishing skill levels (0 experience to very experienced) and they accommodated everyone perfectly. Great place, great time, great fishing!

I think most people look to the Orvis site for reviews on this Lodge - but thought I would also leave one here. This was our first trip fly fishing together (my first time fly fishing - although my husband has been fly fishing elsewhere for several years). It was delightful. The staff is super accommodating and helpful with anything...

Visited FL sight unseen and was not disappointed. Great secluded location. Cody prepared fabulous meals and was very friendly in a down home way. I had an awesome day fishing with Jake while my wife relaxed at the Loge. The "tag along" option is a great idea; without it we wouldn't have pursued this trip as a weekend get away...

And there is the food......and more food. For example last night - double cut pork chops, cheese and herb polenta , grilled cauliflower, roasted carrot soup AND banana brûlée sundaes.....got the picture? All this in a huge lodge that looks like a 5. Star hotel with cozy places to read, admire nature, rock on two dozen porch swings, or mingle...

A group of collegues and I were rewarded with a trip to this fine lodge. The experiences delivered by its staff were over the top. Im not sure we deserved such a great weekend. From the accomadations, to the meals, to the various fishing venues, all framed in the breath-taking scenery, everything was "epiquelly awesome" to quote a fellow guest....

They say variety is the spice of life. Well this gem in northeastern Utah, is definitely burned great tasting memories on my fishing palate. From exciting Tiger Trout on stillwaters to beautiful native Cuttroat to the challenging Browns, I left wanting more. The different types of waters one can fish on a vacation at Falcon's ledge leaves an angler feeling...

Falcon's Ledge is beautiful. The hills and mountains are breathtaking, the fishing areas and convenient, and the lodge is well adorned. The lodge itself has about 8 rooms that are all a little different, but decorated in the lodge style. The lodge feels like a home in a way, with a large kitchen, several living areas, laundry facilities, and pool...

This lodge is the ORVIS Fly fishing lodge of the year. And every bit of my stay there reinforced that award. Trophy fly fishing right outside the door and mountain wild streams only 20 minutes away…WOW. Bring bigger clothes with you, the food is delicious and plentiful. Can't wait to return
