The Rodeway Inn University is a great place to stay if you need an inexpensive spot near West 38th Street in Austin. My husband and I were very pleased with the friendly and helpful staff. As requested, our Room #208 was on the ground floor. The two comfortable double beds had wonderful puffy pillows, clean sheets and cozy, colorful bed...

Don't stay here.Whoever runs this place has no business running any kind of customer service business. We stayed here two nights.Wasn't the cleanest but for the price and location,it was ok.The guy who checked us in was super friendly and helpful. That's probably the only thing this place has going for it.We arefrom out of state so we were in Austin three...

Dump,These pictures do not reflect the rundown state of this hotel.Pictures must have been taken the day the hotel first opened. Definitely not worth the money. Chose this hotel because of limited availability for the F1 at the Circuits of the Americas, although organisation for the race was fantastic, this hotel let Austin down.

Although this location is near downtown and the university, this hotel sits right on the highway (I-35) and a busy service road. It is very noisy as you can hear the traffic in the room. There is absolutely no curb appeal and the décor is mismatched and very dated. I would not stay there again.

I have stayed here several times with and without my spouse over the last three years. While not inspiring or a destination in any way, this place serves its purpose and serves it well. If you are in Austin to experience the town and wish to save money for just that, then Rodeway Inn is a good choice. Access to...

This hotel is very well located - on I-35, less than a mile from UT Austin, and about a mile from downtown Austin. I was able to stay there for $60, although that rate may have been a result of me booking at the last minute. It's shaped as a tall U, which makes it feel protected, small, and comfy...

I had to stay here with a group of students. I chose this because of the location to the University and the Erwin Center. It is close enough to walk if you have good shoes and hips. But expect to smell the fumes along the way. The color scheme of the hotel would not be my favorite. The continental breakfast...

Wife found a pubic hair on her pillow from the previous guest. Enough said... But if you're not turned away by that, and like location and price, this scum hole may be the hotel for you. If possible, police your own pubic hair. The cleaning staff won't

This guest never stayed at this hotel. This guest was never registered at our hotel. We couldnt find his name or reservation anywhere in our system. This is a fake comment.

Google maps had us get off the freeway in what everyone says is the worst possible part of Austin - the hotel itself is off the 236A exit, NOT the "R" street filled with prostitutes and dealers. The guy at the front desk was very helpful and friendly when I called for directions. And that's about the only good thing...
