We stayed three nights. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is large but didn't take long to get around. We upgraded to a river view and glad we did. He had a nice view of the river and bridge. We did not rent a car. We walked almost everywhere...took a few cabs here and there. You are within walking distance...

The Hyatt Regency Austin is a wonderful hotel. It is located on Lady Bird Johnson Lake with a view of Austin's skyline. It is next to the Congress Street Bridge, where you can watch 1.5 million bats fly out from under the bridge about 20 minutes before sundown in the evenings from March until October. People gather on the bridge...

Wow! We love reading that a guest feels just like us! In regards to the parking, we're competitively priced, in fact we're more economical than our friends across the river. We going to look in to see how our guest arrival experience is currently being initiated by our bell staff in order to assure our guests we're going above and...

We booked a night at this hotel but we were not able to make there on time because our flight was diverted due to thunderstorms. However, the hotel staff were so helpful and extended our stay for us to be able to rest a little bit. Also, staff at the breakfast buffet are really joyful and polite. The location of...

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in a king balcony suite on the 16th floor. The view over the river is amazing and the balcony was spacious. The room was also large, comfortable and clean. Same minor complaints as the last reviewer - too hot at night despite changing the thermostat, and low shower head. Also, we would...

We'll take a thumbs up and work on two for next time. We'll look into our floor assignments to make sure that our housekeeping team is maximizing their opportunities during times when guests are away, so thank you for that comment. We LOVE the bats too! Seeing them from a canaoe is awesome but just in case as a back...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. Here are some things that may be useful if you're thinking about staying here. Parking: We used self parking which was $23/night. I've paid much more in other cities. It's connected to the hotel. Some people think it's a long trek but comparing to larger hotels it's not that far of...
