We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Heywood Hotel on our first visit to Austin. This is a small, boutique place on the East side which suited us just perfectly: close enough to the action and the highway but far enough away to be very quiet and peaceful at the same time. Rainey Street is walking distance as is 6th...

I had a great experience here. Hotel is modern and charming. Kathy and the team are extraordinarily attentive, helpful and friendly. The neighborhood is also very funky with good bbq, coffee shops, taco shops and bars in walking distance. Will recommend it to others and go back again for sure.

We were looking for a place to stay in Austin that was outside of downtown and more in a neighbourhood. Rather than stay in an AirBnB we found the Heywood Hotel, which is one of the nicest small hotels we've ever stayed in. Even before we arrived, owner Kathy helped me pick a great neighbourhood restaurant for a special night...

Eclectic converted house in a neighborhood that can only get better. Interesting architecture with that funky friendly Austin vibe. Staff extra-ordinarily helpful. Snacks and coffee complimentary. If you crave unique book it.

We very enthusiastically recommend the Heywood. From the cute design of the property to the style of the rooms to the comfort of the beds to the genuine friendliness of everyone who worked there and made sure we knew all the right places to go, we loved everything. The east neighborhood is the current "it" spot in Austin. We walked...

I am almost afraid to write a review of the Heywood because it feels like an undiscovered gem, and I'd selfishly like to keep it that way so I can stay there every trip! However, it was fully booked on our last visit to Austin, so the word is clearly out. It has a hipster vibe and is located well...

The coolest-designed hotel, tirelessly helpful staff who helps curate your experience in Austin, and proximity to some of the best new bars & restaurants in Austin make this place a no-brainer. I will never stay anywhere else in Austin!

Stayed here in late Feb. Initially had problems finding my typical chain hotel and found the Heywood Hotel. My colleagues and I stayed for 2 nights. Everyone was impressed with the service, level of personalization and customer experience the staff provided. We Americans love our points and hotel chains are great, but it's tough to deliver on things like personalized...

Hey, guys this place is awesome. Heywood does the best job of making you feel special when you arrive, and they are there to help with anything. My wife and I stayed here for a staycation. We live in Austin and picked this place to rest our heads for a night. They are close to downtown, and all the action...

We had just driven down from Dallas after an intense week searching for some much needed R & R, Heywood Hotel was just what the doctor ordered. Brilliant location, easy to find and car parking included, great start. The service couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The rooms are fun and beautifully furnished with high level linens and toiletries....
