Today, I returned from a two night stay at the Austin Motel. The previous reviews were very accurate and helpful. We had room 211, large main room, but the smallest closet and bathroom I have seen in any other motel. The bed and pillows were awesomely comfortable. The a/c worked well but noisily; old style window unit. The linens and...

We were told to stay here for a quintessential Austin experience. Yet, the $250 price tag does not match the the decor, level of cleanliness, or customer service. The bathroom grout was disgusting. Dead bugs lining the windowsill were also disgusting and the lack of privacy was disconcerting. It is kitschy, but not for $250. Bugs and mold are not...

We decided to combine a mini vacation with my husbands work trip. Wow, we didn't realize SXSW was going on while we were there so we felt fortunate to get a room here. The location was great, close to walk downtown as well as hang out in SOCO. There were so many things going around the hotel including our pool...

I fully recommend the Austin Motel. I am on the road 4 days a week almost every week of the year. I decided to try something a little different on my recent stay in Austin. If you ever feel like you get depressed thinking again checking into one more business hotel that is like every other one you are in...

Hotel was conducting renovations while we were here. The facility is very clean, the staff very nice. The only down side was no coffee in room. This is a no frills hotel. The pool looks nice and like I said, it is clean.

Hotel is in the middle of town it's perfect for walking around. The hotel was clean, we had a couple little things wrong like the toilet made loud noises. But all in all it was just fine, and the staff are very nice. Don't miss the coffee shop next door called Jo's.

We stayed as a family of 3 in a "suite". It was very spacious and quirkily furnished and darkly painted. It had a kitchenette but with no kitchen utensils whatsoever which limited its usefulness. The bathroom was adequate but the fixtures and fittings needed updating. The room servicing was a little haphazard. Generally though, we were very comfortable. The room...

I stayed here for a few days and i love this hotel, it was nice and hot and the pool was put to good use. Its a really area to relax in too. Its central to soco lots to explore on foot which is nice as normally a car is needed. Its not the cheapest hotel but worth the money...

We arrived at 7 pm on a Monday, and eventhough the homepage promissed available rooms at different rates they only had the two expensive room types left. So we got to pay almost 250 USD (incl. tax), but then looking forward to a nice room. But the room was not nice. It had terrible lighting, no carpets, lots of traffic...
