Not a bad place to stay but pricey. I guess it's all depending on what you're looking for. The background music played in most public areas was a bit too 'urban' for my tastes. Staff was friendly and service was good. Trip was for personal reasons, not business. Stay was selected as it was near where I needed to be.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 13 December 2016

The hotel was lovely , very clean and comfortable. The staff are so friendly and helpful . A special mention for Bill and Aggie helping two Brits around Austin ! It is slightly out of town which is fine for walking around during that day but we used cabs at night. Gym was fine and we didn't use the pool...

This hotel is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and its proximity to the city was great. I would recommend considering a car rental if you're going to be in town for longer than 2-3 days, however. Cab/Shared ride fare can add up quickly!!

This was a good place to stay to visit UT - its is very close to the campus although on the other side of the highway so we drove over every day rather than walking- easy quick drive. you can purchase breakfast at the hotel if you want - free parking is convenient. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Comfortable beds....

The staff was really nice and the rooms seem to be newly renovated. It is really close to the Frank Erwin Center where we went to see Adele. We walked from the hotel to the concert. They did not have cookies when we checked in like most Double Tree hotels do.....I even check again before the concert.. However, thats an...

It was a great experience. The staff was helpful and made sure that I had everything that I needed. They went beyond by asking about my Hilton Honnors member number so that I receive the appropriate level of service. The room was clean and the restaurant service was good.

This was a clean hotel, and I enjoyed it other than the pool area. This was March, which boasted temperatures of 70-80 degrees, however the pool was cold and dirty, filled with tree leaves. I was hoping to enjoy the pool and didn't realize there wasn't a hot tub. It was very disappointing.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for taking the time to post a review on Tripadvisor. We are sorry that the pool area wasn't what you had expected. It was an unusually warm day for the time of year which is why the pool was much colder then expected on a warm day. We do hope you plan to come during...

Hotel was booked for quick trip to Austin and proximity to business appointments. Property was decent, a bit dated, but modern finishings (bed, couch, shower). Property layout is unique with courtyard and pool. Breakfast in the am was great, lots of food/menu choice and proper strong coffee! Staff is restaurant were prompt and helpful. Front desk staff were helpful and...

We do appreciate the lovely words that you have had to say and thank you for taking time out to write this review. Horrible experience with this hotel and the man at the front desk. Booked the room two weeks in advance for SXSW weekend, received a confirmation email and applied my Hilton Honor's member points. Arrived at 7:15pm to check in (I was guaranteed late check in on my confirmation), and they said they did not have my room. They SOLD my...

Clean rooms, great staff, cookies were warm and delicious. When we ordered a cab--took only minutes. Everyone was warm and friendly. Even though Austin was crowded for SXSW, this hotel was not hustle and bustle. Staff was friendly and ready to help
