The Internet is terrible. There are zero USB outlets in the room so I need to run out and buy a converter to plug into the wall. No shampoo, no conditioner... none of the frills. I know it's not the Ritz, but am I to believe that corporate is SO CHEAP that they're unable to keep up with the times?

Dear Grant7519, Thank you for staying with us at the Courtyard Dallas Arlington/ Entertainment District. I hope that you enjoyed your time in the Arlington Area. I understand how the issues that you detailed in your review led to your experience with us to be less than ideal and I sincerely apologize for these issues occurring at my property. All of our guestrooms are equipped with USB ports on the alarm clock and sofa bed arm rests. We provide full sized bottles of Shampoo, Body Wash, and Conditioner in all of our guestroom showers. It would be helpful to me if you could provide me with more details as to what you mean by these items not being in your guestroom as all of our bath amenities are permanently mounted in our showers. I can be reached at 817-277-2774 Ext. 617 or via email at justin.berthiaume@marriott.com. I hope that you will stay with us again the next time that your travels take you to the Arlington area. Best regards, Justin Berthiaume

I travel for work extensively and stay in Marriotts as much as possible. This is a good one. Helpful staff, clean, nice pool. On this visit I was given an inside courtyard room away from the highway, but this highway is just too big. The noise never stops. For that reason, this is my last stay here.

Courtyard is a great location right by the interstate but they have a bug problem in the building. Saw bugs in the hall and bathroom while stayed, due to Covid most things were closed in the hotel so that wasn’t a shock. They need to get that bug problem under control.

I stayed for one night in May with one other guest for necessary travel. We were checked in and out by an extremely rude front desk worker. We walked up to the hotel and were told "You need to check in at a different hotel since we did not book online". I found this phrasing odd, however, we stepped outside and just checked in on our phone. I had a small discount to stay a night and was extremely sick so I had no choice but to try and stay there. The next morning, the same front desk worker was there when he mocked me for only having a $25 dollar off our hotel room from their rewards program. Lastly, he asked if my friend and I smoke weed as we proceeded to check out. As two people of color, this interaction was extremely frustrating, unnecessary, and prejudiced. We do not do drugs, have drugs, etc. I made a report to Marriott Customer Service about my experience, and I do not feel that it was taken seriously as I was not called back. It is a disappointing experience, my family has stayed at Marriotts for years and never had a large issue. However, I can not process going back to any Marriott hotels with how humiliating this experience was for my friend and myself.

We checked in for a weekend stay, check-in process was good, room was clean, and beds were comfy. My issue occured on Sunday morning when my husband and I were asleep, and a hotel staff member entered into our room while speaking into a walkie. I heard the person in my room say "room 288, right?" And the response from the other end said "no, room 287!". Excuse me? This person casually walked out our room, said nothing, no apology, nothing. When I brought it to the attention of front desk staff they didn't do anything either. At first they looked confused as if I were speaking gibberish. But when I persisted and mentioned my room number again it dawned on them. And they stated "oh there was some interference I guess on the walkie, we said 287 they heard 288, sorry". What?! Are you serious?! Not even someone in management bothered to speak to me, just the front desk ladies. I had wedding festivities to get to so I left at the time, but I was livid. This by far is the worst experience I've had at a hotel, or motel for that matter. As many times as I've stayed at an Inn, or motel; how many times have I been walked in on by an employee - 0. Seems like Marriott is worse than the motels and Inns. Go stay at a Days Inn I guess, they'll be cheaper, and people won't walk into your room early in the morning!

Hotel is within easy walking distance of Globe Life Field, which was the primary resson for our stay. Spacious and clean room, comfortable bed. Location right off highway is easy to get to and convenient for getting around the area. Front desk staff friendly and helpful.

I arrived and went to front desk to check-in. I was told a price that was $80 over my reservation price. I had to show the email confirm to get right price. Reserved a king and when we got to the room it was 2 queens. Called front desk & was told there were none available and that a king was not available due to my late check-in. OK so the customer is to blame for you not holding a reservation. Great way to spend an anniversary with my wife! You all were terrible and I will not stay at a Marriott property again. Room was vey plain with no art on the walls. It felt very institutional. Several channels did not work on TV.

Do yourself a favor and check out other hotels in the area. The customer service starts at the management and works down. Not a great experience. Overpriced with poor customer service and cancellation policies. Plenty of choices out there.

Dear BigLSilv, Thank you for taking the time to share you feedback with us. All of our reservations are required to be cancelled more than 72 hours before the date of arrival to avoid being charged a cancellation fee of the first nights room and tax. I hope that you understand the reasoning for the enforcement of our cancellation policy. I hope that you are able to stay with us the next time that you are in the Arlington area so that you can experience the customer service that we are known for. Truly, Justin Berthiaume Assistant General Manager

I stay in over 100 Marriotts per year…this is the WORSE Courtyard ever…..it would NOT qualify above a Budgetel…..if you are used to nice, clean Marriotts…THIS IS NOT IT!
The staff was nice….and check in was a non-issue.
I do NOT recommend this place.

I wish there was a number below 1... I will give it a 1 for the bed.... The manager here must have been having a bad day, week, month.. Food was below average. Dirty , worn carpet and hallways. Musty smell. Poorly laid out elevators. I will be surprised if a Marriott retains this place. Very overpriced for area. 1 tv in lobby. I could go on but I won’t, and we won’t be back.. Better choices for much less.

Hello Dear Traveler,
Thank you for considering our hotel for your future stay. We provide shuttle for business reasons within five miles radius. Airport is only 15 minutes away without traffic, however, out of our shuttle radius range. But cabs are not very expensive in Dallas. You may use Uber as well. If you are coming for a especial event to the AT&T Stadium, it is better to not use transportation. We are very close to the stadium and besides that a few roads closed for pedestrians attending the events, making traffic heavier. If you drive it can take you from 30-45 minutes. If you walk it can take you 8-10 minutes depending on your own pace. There are as well independent golf carts and bikes taxis that can take you if you rather not walk. They have different fees and can range from 5-15 per person. They park outside our lobby for your convenience. For all of the above our location is very convenient. If I can be of further assistance you can contact the Hotel directly as well.
Have a wonderful day!
Rosa A.
General Manager
We had no musty smells in our room or floor.
Hello, if you arrive at noon, it will take 20-30 min. for the cub since the traffic jam normally starts around 3:30 pm. Then, I'd recommend you walk to the stadium you can see from this courtyard.
